  1. I can't work out whether POL is kept going by complete idiots or mindless believers - either way they have no appreciation of the hole they are in!
  2. It was clearly a difficult situation for both parties. To be fair to Puncheon he looks to have backed down, and we have given him a graceful way to do so. His words are right, if he can back them with actions then we should welcome him back.
  3. Seems the Puncehon story has moved on! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?35383-Puncheon-back-in-1st-team
  4. Yep, read the link I posted this evening, they are in deep doodoo
  5. This thread is of course Saints related. Imagine if we won the league by them going pop!
  6. Great news, how did he get past the TSW pack at Heathrow and the spotter cars on the M3?
  7. http://www.premierleague.com/content/dam/premierleague/site-content/News/publications/handbooks/premier-league-handbook-2011-12.pdf Document Page 93 / Electronic page 107 for the EPL Parachute regulations.
  8. Anything they do following the issue of the petition can be reversed / recovered from the Directors. http://coopermatthews.com/winding-up-petition.html Liked this bit: If company directors are found guilty of continuing to allow a business to trade while insolvent, they may become personally liable for the debts incurred by the company from the time they knew the business was insolvent. That means Lumpitt and the other company directors are on the hook.
  9. For the avoidance of doubt it is not acceptable to post about other forum members in this way. If you disagree, please smash them the weight of your argument. If you get wound-up, put them on ignore. If you can't manage either then expect to be infracted / banned.
  10. 2 1/2 years on and this thread gets better and better.
  11. Expereinced CB's are easier to get on loan than strikers. I offer Luketti and Perry as evidence.
  12. Personally I think we should loan an experienced Centre Back for a month as cover. We will liekly have Fonte and Jaidi in contention soon and from watching Sky tonight Jos' injury was a tweak not a pull. Martin was CB#5 in the pecking order behind Fonte, Hooiveld, Jaidi (Who was injured tbf) and Seaborne and not appears to be the only fit one.
  13. We didn't get three points tonight, hardly worthy of booking an appointment at Dignitas.
  14. Calling him out?
  15. Reasons to be cheerful: We will have Lambert back next month Fonte and Chappers to come back in soonish Leicester will take points off our challengers We are 2nd We can make the gap 4 points again by beating Cardiff We have Lee to come in Jos' injury is a blow, hope it is tweak not a pull.

  17. As Blackadder would say: "Bugger".
  18. Good goal by Nugent, if I was being critical I'd blame the Left Back playing at Right Back.
  19. It's an interesting notion, but ultimately it is down to the club and the players to keep it in house better if they value secrecy. It would be odd to ban someone for posting information that people log on here to find out. Many moons ago I recall Keith Legg deleting posts and threating bans to people for naming a mystery trialist in case another team snuck in and purchased him.
  20. Fahim, Al-mirage, Chanrai & Antanov appear to equal:
  21. FFS, how many weeks will he be out?
  22. From AA in the Guardian: I'm anticipating HMRC will advertise the petition and that will be another problem we'll have to deal with in due course. Namely that this will flush out other creditors unpaid who may coose to supprt the petition.
  23. Well this is going to end well! To re-use my gag from the other Puncheon thread. He may well find himself 'Sleeping with the Fishes' tonight, and I don't mean some Pompey slag.
  24. Not surprised that we are now hearing about the Winding-Up Petition. My UK companies follow the process of: 1. Chase Debt 2. If we have no luck or suspect Default then Issue Statutory Demand . http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/ManagingDebt/CourtClaimsAndBankruptcy/DG_187711 3. Issue a winder Skates fail to pay mid December, HMRC give a weeks grace, issue Stat Demand - nothing doing they issue the WUP. The interesting thing about a Winding Up Petition is it relates to UNDISPUTED debt. It becomes a factual issue of payment or non-payment. As I recall last time the cheating bastards argued the toss on VAT regulations, if it is simply NI then no solicitor or Director will likely risk the consequences of trying to challenge the validity of the debt.
  25. Jaidi was on Twitter tonight, and said BOTH the new signings were settling in well at training (or words to that effect)
