The only way the real fans can salvage this is through AFC Portsmouth. They will have a hardcore of circa 7-8k who will make the journey back up the league viable. 48 hours, where have I heard that before? Thinking about it liquidation might now be a better option for Chinny. He is secured creditor as is Gayda on the land, they get first charge on any assets in liquidation. The parachutes are dwindling and will have to first go to football creditors. Assuming the remainder is put against the burn rate it might now be a better option for him to liquidate before he has to pay another round of taxes and wages.

All, as funny as naming or hinting about the identity of our Pet Skate must be for you all I'd ask that you refrain. This thread has benefited from his insane fingers in ears delusion for the past 958 pages and kept us in lols during the lulls.
