  1. As Blackadder would say: "Bugger".
  2. Good goal by Nugent, if I was being critical I'd blame the Left Back playing at Right Back.
  3. It's an interesting notion, but ultimately it is down to the club and the players to keep it in house better if they value secrecy. It would be odd to ban someone for posting information that people log on here to find out. Many moons ago I recall Keith Legg deleting posts and threating bans to people for naming a mystery trialist in case another team snuck in and purchased him.
  4. Fahim, Al-mirage, Chanrai & Antanov appear to equal:
  5. FFS, how many weeks will he be out?
  6. From AA in the Guardian: I'm anticipating HMRC will advertise the petition and that will be another problem we'll have to deal with in due course. Namely that this will flush out other creditors unpaid who may coose to supprt the petition.
  7. Well this is going to end well! To re-use my gag from the other Puncheon thread. He may well find himself 'Sleeping with the Fishes' tonight, and I don't mean some Pompey slag.
  8. Not surprised that we are now hearing about the Winding-Up Petition. My UK companies follow the process of: 1. Chase Debt 2. If we have no luck or suspect Default then Issue Statutory Demand . http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/ManagingDebt/CourtClaimsAndBankruptcy/DG_187711 3. Issue a winder Skates fail to pay mid December, HMRC give a weeks grace, issue Stat Demand - nothing doing they issue the WUP. The interesting thing about a Winding Up Petition is it relates to UNDISPUTED debt. It becomes a factual issue of payment or non-payment. As I recall last time the cheating bastards argued the toss on VAT regulations, if it is simply NI then no solicitor or Director will likely risk the consequences of trying to challenge the validity of the debt.
  9. Jaidi was on Twitter tonight, and said BOTH the new signings were settling in well at training (or words to that effect)
  10. If he is talking about Nicola I would imagine he will be 'sleeping with the fishes' tonight, and I don't mean some Pompey slag.
  11. So what's stopped them forming a protest club over the past 2.5 years? The anti-Glazer mob have had the courage of their convictions http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/home.php
  12. The only way the real fans can salvage this is through AFC Portsmouth. They will have a hardcore of circa 7-8k who will make the journey back up the league viable. Wimbledon didn't have the same support base as the Skates and have managed it in a decade. I dare say that the majority of us on here would wish them well and look forward to derby days again, with the result being determined by the quality of the football - not the size of the overdraft or the amount of dirty money passing through the squad. As it stands the club has become a pawn in an international scam of epic proportions, yet the gullable few down the road lap up the BS from the latest shister to promise them massive investment and a return to the big time. I'll repeat my point from the last few days, liquidation is now the most profitable outcome for Chanrai short of finding a madman buyer to underwrite the debts. With todays admission they are insolvent I can now see a points penalty being levied very quickly.
  13. Option 5, preparing to liquidate the 'asset' before it burns more cash. Chinny and Gaydaboy have their security already. Why would Chinny pay £12m per annum to collect at most £8m for next two years minus football debt? As it stands I truly believe the club is worth more to him dead than alive.
  14. Please catch up quickly, there will be an exam.
  15. 48 hours, where have I heard that before? Thinking about it liquidation might now be a better option for Chinny. He is secured creditor as is Gayda on the land, they get first charge on any assets in liquidation. The parachutes are dwindling and will have to first go to football creditors. Assuming the remainder is put against the burn rate it might now be a better option for him to liquidate before he has to pay another round of taxes and wages.
  16. This is a nice compilation, but the question is more relevant to Portsmouth than Southampton, I've copied it to here. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga
  17. This
  18. Please no naming.
  19. You don't need to be Nostradamas to work out that no new owner today. Happy to ne wrong if it is Cala. Predictive text on my phone gives 'calamity' when you type 'Cala', how apt. Sent from my HTC using Tapatalk
  20. All, as funny as naming or hinting about the identity of our Pet Skate must be for you all I'd ask that you refrain. This thread has benefited from his insane fingers in ears delusion for the past 958 pages and kept us in lols during the lulls. I'd hate to think we'd miss any scoops that he has gleaned from his contact high up in the club who he sees socially every fortnight as a result if we drove him away. Back to the thread, I see that another Thursday has passed with no new owner.
  21. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?35201-Yago-Falque-Joins-on-loan-from-Spurs
  22. I am gutted to hear with have no chane of getting Hooper. Still hoping we have a chance of landing him. Rangers and Celtic to be fair are massive clubs, that fact alone doesn't make their league better than the Championship though. If we do land him this is going straight in Golden Threads.
  23. Noooooooooooo! Six Sigma training course tomorrow. Will have to save gutlaughs for the train home.
  24. Chanrai introduces another new owner to rape the carcass that is Portsmouth Football Club. The knuckle draggers from the fishy end of the M27 will no doubt drop all objections as soon as they sign a few loanees, unproven punts from abroad and pensioners such as Kanu. So whats Chinny's plan? Keep the club alive by installing this Patsy, take the parachute payments, pocket the VAT and NI and then allow HMRC to wind them up would be my bet. Chanrai's loan of £1m does tell us that they are burning a loss of £1m per month, which tallies with the Antanov £10.8m (Transfers and running costs). Chuck in the CVA and they are toast. It seems what Chanrai wants, Chanrai gets. Good luck with Mr Cala PFC, we'll be keeping this thread open a bit longer I think.
  25. MLT (The Poster) was first to market with Tadanari Lee and knows people at the club, I can vouch he is not a WUM and a genuine Saints fan, so if he is excited that should equal good news.
