  1. From memory the Sash was year 3 of a 5 year deal. So two more years.
  2. The main board is for Saints fans to discuss Saints matters. Generally we have a few oppo fans come on here and their views are tolerated and insight often interesting. It is bad enough having to put up with our own WUM's, let alone an opposition supporter. There are plenty of other BB's for that. I think you can see the negative reaction to his misleading thread title from others above, and having viewed their posting history I don't think the forum is poorer for their absence.
  3. I've corrected it for you.
  4. The Howard rumour does surface quite often. He was previously here, lives nearby and from memory was a Saints fan. Would and could make sense as he has been far from a regular at Reading this year and they are set for mid-table mediocrity now out of the cup. I'll ask a few of my Reading supporting friends if they have heard anything.
  5. Unashamed plug for this shirt sale on Ebay. Nice to see the Saints shirt has the highest current bid. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Southampton-FC-Signed-Shirt-Tribute-To-Dean-Richards_W0QQitemZ280640772233QQihZ018QQcategoryZ106521QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Southampton FC Signed Shirt Im memory of Dean Richards During an emotional tribute to Dean Richards before kick-off at the game between Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur at Molineux, representatives from Richards’ four previous clubs held aloft their team’s respective shirts. Tottenham Hotspur’s Ledley King represented Spurs, alongside ex-Southampton defender Claus Lundekvam, ex- Wolves goalkeeper and Wolves Community Trust Ambassador Matt Murray and joint Chairman of Bradford City Mark Lawn. Each shirt held up on the pitch was signed by the current squad members and are now available for bidding. All proceeds from the auctions will be donated via Wolves Official Charity -Wolves Community Trust - to St. Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds where Richards sadly passed away. The shirts all have “Richards” printed on the back along with the number that the former defender wore most regularly whilst playing for that team. The auction closes on Thursday 17 March so supporters wishing to place a bid on any of the shirts have 10 days to do so. *Item will come with a Wolverhampton Wanderers Certificate of Authenticty - with a covering letter to confirm its authenticity. *Item can be collected for free or will be posted out recorded delivery.
  6. The ref and lino got it right. Had Butterfield passed the ball as opposed to be smashed by it then there would be no debate on the matter, the Laws of the Game treat those two situations identically.
  7. My god, I forgot all about that LOL. My computer history was Spectrum 48k, Spectrum +3 (yes the disk drive model with 128k), Commodore Amiga, 286, 386, 486 etc.
  8. Post of the day, genuine LOL.
  9. TBF I can't recall anyone reporting any of your posts.
  10. Didn't Barnard sign an 18 month deal, last January?
  11. To paraphrase the soon to be sacked Blackburn manager, if we gave an infraction for every breach of the rules we'd have 10 bannings a day.
  12. And you know this how?
  13. Don't disagree with your first paragraph, in hindsight a bit of warning would have been a better idea. PS. How do you know Hypo hasn't been infracted for the same?
  14. Serious argument here please http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28713-Making-Infractions-Public Back to Wonders of the Solar System please.
  15. Quite a bit of debate on whether to do this. Personally I was open to the idea, but having done it on a thread earlier I am not so sure it is a good idea. The forum software does not make it easy (or even possible as far as I aware) to do this in an automated way so it would be down to Mods and admin to manually post them manually. In addition a lot of the posts we infract are deleted without the majority of the users getting to see them. Having to leave posts there, or the mystery of what they might of been is probably more damaging than the offence itself. If you are interested how it panned out see the thread in question http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28699-Wonders-of-the-solar-system
  16. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28634-Renewal&p=983704#post983704 Now very confused. Obviously not the right type of transparency Hypo, thanks for the tip. Will look out for the program
  17. The infraction was real. A serious thread, in The Lounge, with a comment that would have likely kicked off the usual slanging match on here. If you look at the renewal thread in site suggestions there was an idea to make infractions public. As a test I published the next I gave. Going forward I won't bother as everyone then spends the rest of the thread debating the validity of the infraction. In answer to your question Dune, I took all the previous 6646 crimes into account.
  18. As a scientific experiment I made public the next infraction I gave. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28699-Wonders-of-the-solar-system I shan't bother again as it actually end up killing the thread even more.
  19. Active Infraction (Points: 1) Posting a sarcastic/pointless remark
  20. Agree, but still wouldn't be surprised if they 'helped' them to complete fixtures.
  21. I believe that clubs who cannot complete their fixtures have previous results cancelled. L1 would be 44 games long. I'd rather they didn't liquidate tbh.
  22. The league (albeit Premier variety) did a deal for Pompey to complete their fixtures. So not completely out of the question is it?
