There are two big evils in football that encourage clubs to live beyond their means. 1. Football Creditor Rule 2. Parachute Payments from Prem League Until the two above are abolished clubs will continue to (1) Continue to sell their assets on long term payment plans knowing that the money is as secure as a government security (obviously not an Irish one). If all deals were effectively cash then we would see more realistic fees. (2) The parachute payments encourage teams to 'bet the farm' safe in the knowledge that however extragent they are they have a safety net, combined with a significant advantage in bouncing straight back up. Alan Sugar was right many years ago on this subject.

Tend to agree with this and that has been the policy I have generally followed. Having the rule in place does mean that we can have a much lower tolerance level on opposing fans.

At a guess they are paying £3-400K per year. That was the figure my company was looking at for sponsoring a championship club a couple of years back.

They look like a consultancy firm with a recruitment firm bolted on.
