Remind me, how many more points is it for a 5-0 win over a 1-0 win? I remember that game, exactly the sort of game we have been mugged in year in year out. If that's frustrating I'll take that every Saturday thank you.

There are enough crap cars on the road without this clearly mad idea. You only have to drive in places without an annual test (eg South Africa) to appreciate why we need it. I wonder if Saint David (MOT Expert) will raise his head on this one?

He was great for us, anyone doubting that should look at the save he made at 1-1 in the survival game Vs Sheff Utd. That said, Kelvin and Bart should be more than capable to get us over the line this season.

Thought he was good. The assistants were poor though. One flagging ten seconds late on Lambert and another flagging BWP offside when one of our players passed the ball. A chant of "Bradley Wright Phillips, he's always offside" sprung out from the Northam which brought a smile to BWP if I saw correctly.

Parachute Payments from Prem League Until the two above are abolished clubs will continue to (1) Continue to sell their assets on long term payment plans knowing that the money is as secure as a government security (obviously not an Irish one). If all deals were effectively cash then we would see more realistic fees. (2) The parachute payments encourage teams to 'bet the farm' safe in the knowledge that however extragent they are they have a safety net, combined with a significant advantage in bouncing straight back up. Alan Sugar was right many years ago on this subject.
