  1. As does Rooney, must be a good trait.
  2. With pay-off hope now extinguished we can turn our attention to the Storrie court case. When / If found guilty (I appreciate there is a formality of a trial and strong probability of a CPS / HMRC ****-up) in which season will the points be deducted?
  3. RIP. He must hold the Britush record for gut laughs.
  4. To be fair, your defintion of 'late goal' was pretty much the whole of the second half.
  5. He actually reminds me of the 'Latvian' Michael Owen.
  6. Have just finished watching his interview on Saints Player. I have to say that I have rated him every time I have seen him pull on a Saints shirt, unfortunately that hasn't been as many times as it should have been in the past two years due to injury. From the games last season and glimpes of this it is clear he has a good partnership with Rickie and he has influenced games coming off the bench. From his interview today he came across as a focussed professional. Would love to see him him given another year as I think he CSDAJFU.
  7. this. Would like to see them or B'Mouth go up over Posh or Franchise.
  8. We have a few other Brighton threads running at the moment
  9. All this talk of rolling over to Huddersfield is crap. Last game at Withdean and Poyet will want to avenge this defeat.
  10. Poyet has form with us. When he was a player at Chelsea one of our players gave him an immense injury, North African fellow, not Kachoul whose name escapes me right now. We followed this up with taunts of "Where's your Poyet gone" at the next game. I always rated a Poyet as a player - at least until he moved to the Spuds, and Brighton have done very well this year. I wish them all the best, congratulate them on going nearly unbeaten for the season at home and wish them all the best with filling the Credit Card Stadium next year, hopefully they are on less than 26.9% APR. Anyway, I support Southampton - I've clearly fallen for this bogus derby ********. Great result and the sort of comeback and never say die that we have become used to under Adkins. As many have noted Hartlepool is our traditional banana skin.
  11. I'd go back to my first game of Saints Vs Coventry at the Dell September 1985, and wouldn't change a thing.
  12. Personally I am hoping the Ruskies buy, another year of LOL's nailed on.
  13. I took a two and a half year old to a game, he lasted about 25 minutes, Going to try again when he is 5.
  14. In other news I see that Saints' AVERAGE attendance this season is currently more than their HIGHEST http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/attend.html Also we have now overtaken them in the all-time average attendence rankings.
  15. it was http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?29520-Saints-1-V-0-Bristol-Rovers-post-match-sighs-of-relief..&p=1017679#post1017679
  16. I am sure that once the design is nailed, price is known and the payment details sorted we can sticky that thread to uncloud it all.
  17. I also make that us being a mathmatical certainty for the play-offs (at least) now.
  18. I remember a certain commentator remarking that Matt Le Tissier had done nothing all game but score two goals. Guly, although not in Matt's league, is similar. He frustrates the hell out of you but has the abillity to do some very special things. He just won't please any supporter who rates someone on their ability to 'put in a shift'.
  19. There have been 2x ML appreciation threads running, have merged them together and kept as a sticky. Apologies if the merge makes any of the posts out of context.
  20. 300 Golden Tickets? Even Willy Wonka was prudent enough to only issue five golden tickets. Still to compare the land of complete make believe and fantasy to Roald Dahl's tale is a bit unfair.
  21. 3-0 loss tonight and Mullins sent off. Shame.
  22. We are fitter, We are a better team than before, We have a better spirit. Not the same old Saints IMHO. Still don't think we'll lose this.
  23. Given the number we have had it is hardly a claim to fame.
