From the sound of that they would simply be refused re-admittance to the football league should they go down unless they pay a fine for breaching FFP during their promotion season. No question being kicked out of the Premier League.

Talking Tactics: Koeman gives Saints fans reasons to be cheerful
Colinjb replied to pap's topic in The Saints
As I said in my original point, perhaps he underachieved. Good debate though. I'm sure it wasn't twelves games at his point of dismissal. Only four or five league games (which also included a 1-5 home humping by Chelsea in the cup. Made amends with the 2-2 draw at Stamford bridge in his last game in charge mind.) -

Just where did Reading's premier league money go? Covering existing debts or siphoned off to Russia? -
I personally wonder why Tom Huddlestone hasn't been called in, would be far more comfortable in that role then Wilshere. Equally, this on football365 made me gasp somewhat.

And equally future England international's Lallana, Shaw and Lambert. French starter Morgan Schneiderlin and premier league standard Boruc, S. Davis, Clyne and Ward-Prowse. You raise a fair point regarding squad depth but the first eleven was fine. -

Which (going slightly off on a tangent) still continues to merit examination as his open naive side changed into the vastly more solid unit that dragged us out of the mire just before his sacking. On the basis of the players at his disposal, he perhaps did under achieve by having that bad start in the league yet he did get to grips with it, eventually. -
Is there a map of his route anywhere?
-
Fair comment. Hope he does fight to try and wouldn't grudge him a move to his home club.

Bet Chetna's curry fusion pies would kick the arse of Wembley's stock chicken balti efforts.

Impressed by the lad in the comments who is 'routing' for us. Good carpentry is hard to find.

The favourites had a shocker in that round. Fair play to Nancy though, she nailed it.

It's a troll! A stirring f**king troll. Put it on ignore. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...33#post1957533 How it's not been banned I don't know, perhaps the mods are trying to fish out it's other identities.

Oh come on, that is not even an actual fan. Anyone that argues with itself is the pure definition of a troll. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...33#post1957533

Yep. Far better squad depth in: Goal, Defense Equal depth: Midfield To be assessed: Attack, May lack the same ultimate quality but the case is there to say it can be just as good. Credit to the board and Koeman, i've been very critical of Krueger in particular but the indication is that they have done a bang up job to recover from the terrible situation we were in. Now it's up to Ronald Koeman.
-
Now now. Until last night I wasn't even aware the game was tonight. Yes, there was a squad announcement recently but had thought the game would be on Friday night. Hadn't seen it advertised, nothing in the media aside from the squad. Wanted to know what people's feelings about the game would be after the relative excitement of the last squad when we had three players there, now they have all gone and we have only a substitute keeper to make up the numbers. In all seriousness I shall be watching the bake off instead.....Pie and tart week! Come on!
-
So, does anyone care about this? I shall be watching the Great British Bake Off.

The thread for people who want to say sorry to the board
Colinjb replied to berkshiresaint's topic in The Saints
So, the possibility that we have reduced our wage bill, made 30m profit and ensured that our squad is of sufficient strength to at least be competitive. That looks very shrewd. -

Touché sir! -
We also have a Man Utd player, Derby, Leicester and Forest Player, A player for Eastleigh and a Hereford United player in the banner.

It wouldn't be a surprise, that transfer was a shocker. Glad they finally showed some spine and halted the exodus, it provided a foundation for new players to come on, no-one ever heard of rats boarding a sinking ship. -
Gaston Ramiez to Hull on Season Long Loan - Official
Colinjb replied to NorthamSteve's topic in The Saints
Yes, I agree. Hull's offer was more then fair considering he is a bit part player. If they want to pay his inflated wages too, well, they are obviously confident about staying up and remaining in the top flight. -
We appear to have made the best of a bad situation. The board laid down the law with Morgan and Jay, a vitally important measure that put in the foundations for bringing further new blood in, we were looking to build on what we still had. Our signings look on the whole to be fairly shrewd, time will naturally tell but I am feeling a lot more enthused about the season now.

Yes it's only a youtube video, but he has got such an astonishingly poised turn of acceleration and close control, he will not have the same space here but he should cause a few problems.

Que sera sera. I'm off to bed.

His goal against Arsenal alone equaled Osvaldo's contribution, his goal in the win over Newcastle pushes it over the edge in combination with the 30 or so extra games he played for us and his infinitely better attitude.
