  1. It does not work like that. Football wouldn't encourage such emotion, passion and gravity if it did. If football was just business it would be background noise, you cannot encourage such favour, revel in it and then dismiss a transfer such as that as a simple career progression. He is a rat.
  2. For separate teams. They need time to learn each other's games, learn how to play together.... and do it without every single misstep being dissected.
  3. Do f**k off. How that little rat treat the club will never stop being a source of aggravation. He shat on us. Players can leave a club well, Rickie managed it, Adam chose to be a weasel. F**k him.
  4. Only if you can take the core of youngsters and throw them in confidently.... Don't let the pressure of the environment constrict them. Let them develop out of direct sight in the U21's. Let them mature, do not rush things.
  5. Quantity does not equal quality. The most over capped waste of space in the history of the national game, a reflection of how bang average our national team is that he can be so decorated.
  6. Or, throw in a group of young players who have played together before in their formative years and let them hit the ground running?
  7. Perhaps I am expecting too much, certainly my feeling on the game does seem out of kilter on the basis of three others. Nonetheless, against opposition who were markedly inferior man for man we laboured and had to be on the end of a self inflicted deficit before stepping up. That speaks volumes to me and I stand by my negativity. I am expecting a defeat against the Scots on the basis that they are beginning to become the exact opposite of England, a team that exceed the value of their parts, not one that operates within their own limits.
  8. Leicester were that last week. Slovenia offered nothing and we showed nothing in comparison until the own goal. It was desperate stuff, devoid of effort and backbone until we made it tricky for ourselves. Against Switzerland we showed that there is potential for life, here eleven players went through the motions in an attempted spectacle, it was a complete waste of time. I expect the England side to show a little self respect, there were and indeed are pathetic.
  9. That was just sh*te. Result be damned, our national side is desperately bad. No attempt at cohesion until they were put under pressure, symptomatic of a complacent, entitled group of prima donna c***s who embrace the shop window of career progression that the white shirt represents.
  10. Cannot wait for that Golden moment when they realise their 'shares' simply are not.......
  11. ! That is actually readable. Astonishing!
  12. Regardless of result, may buy a copy of that print anyway, that is very nice!
  13. Did a great turn in the Manageress. RIP.
  14. The most thought provoking part for me.
  15. Leave him there, I don't want to risk tarnishing the good memories.
  16. That is very easily rectified.
  17. On the other hand. I had 2-0. Pound for a fiver.
  18. No, they are the Taurus cider you find in Aldi, overshadowed entirely by the larger and better made structure that now surrounds it. (Yes, I shop in Aldi.....)
  19. Liking the analogy, particularly if it incorporates us selling those 65p jars of Pickles on match days. With so much money in the game, spending smarter rather then harder certainly has obvious merit. But, why are we the only ones who on the surface seem to be doing this?
  20. Just watched those videos after getting in from the office. They really are quite something and provide emphasis of just how fortunate we are to have been embraced by such a benevolent owner and family. All the terrible vitriol directed at Katharina over the summer, a dreamwrecker, an asset stripper. No, just a woman who clearly misses her father dearly and wishes to respect his wishes and legacy. With this kind of considered vision and care towards how we are run I see no reason why we cannot continue to improve further in all areas.
  21. The only Saints supporting F1 driver?
  22. Happy with that. Would have been nice to have it at home though.
  23. Kelvin beaten at the near post? Never! Just an incredible journey we have been on.
  24. Hot on the heels of Pochettino supposedly asking Levy to sign Jay Rodriguez. There's some games happening behind the scenes. The pressure can work both ways.
