May be relevant for any future qualifiers. "Glass Joe" has done it again: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24027052

Haha, I do like that!!

Not just that, but they seem now to be going back on and undermining the business model that made them so successful in the first place. Make something game changing (iPhone original, 3, 3s, 4) and offer it in a few easily adjustable variations. (Memory required changing one component) and sell it for a huge mark up at the premium end of the market. One model, mass made, standard parts, high margin. Now they are going to be making a lower end model, alongside the premium new one and some of the older models too. Less profitable and undermining the brand's position as solely a high end aspirational one. Drawing themselves back into a dogfight with the HTC's, Sonys and Samsungs of the world and losing their 'prestige' as you have very well put it. As I say, I utterly respect how good the handsets still are, my work iPhone 5 is an excellent device. I vastly prefer the Samsung Galaxy S3 I keep as a personal phone though.

No denying they are excellent phones, but there is no reason for the average user to have anything other then an iPhone 4/4s. It's just the same routine now.

I have nothing to add other then:

The story of Robbie Rogers is heartening (ex Leeds, Stevenage.) He came out after being released by Leeds United and immediately retired after feeling that he couldn't continue as a footballer with his sexuality out in the open. He has however since revived his career and now plays for L.A. Galaxy. Small steps are being made.

Towards the back end of last season when we did it worked well. Jay and Rickie's link up for the first goal at Reading immediately springs to mind.

It very much depends on what they have allocated their last remaining parachute payments for, you would hope that prudence has prevailed and they are being used to settle prior debts. If they have stuck to past precedents though they are once again totally f**ked. Their budget is said to be competitive for the level if not the biggest so perhaps, just perhaps they are running themselves on a sustainable basis now. Oh who am I kidding.

Yes, without Sturridge, Rooney and Welbeck pretty much the only option! What a prat.
-
Some astonishing sums of money there. £6.5 million in total which they cannot walk away from as it would undermine the very rule that saved them.

Reflecting back on last night, yes, you can only beat what is in front of you but that misses the point that England have so often laboured, looked berift of ideas and utterly unable to unlock and break down even the most ordinary of defences at international level. Rickie lambert provided a spark of composure and quality of delivery that utterly undid the Moldovan defence twice, he perfectly complimented his immediate strike partner and brought out the best in Danny Welbeck while also reacting naturally and instinctively to claim his own goal. The guy is a perfect fit in our international set up and it's wonderful to see him seize the opportunity.... and to be gaining rightful acclaim for it!

At the same time?

Bravo unions, bravo.

So much Mazda..... :s You can change the formation for what i see... Is that what you meant cellone?
-
If he plays as we know he can he'll cement his place as a hero. When it comes to the national side people are fickle. With Rickie though, people respect his modesty and love him for his enthusiasm. He would be elevated only further if he scores even one.
-
And what about those who did? Do they actually get a say too? Of course not, they just contributed to the Ponzi scheme.
-
Very little point in holding both the senior international and u21 within close proximity of each other in consecutive days. When the senior team are at home the u21's should play elsewhere. Bristol, Derby, Newcastle, Liverpool. Spread the interest in our national team.

Keep JWP or the other DM back instead?

That was beautiful! And onside! Cruel.

He can say anything he wants! doesn't necessarily mean they are intrinsically linked.

No need to consider such cynicism, they were intended as such.

Wonderful technique.

£165. That's very nice for you, living in London you don't have to factor in travel as much either. Do have a good time, i'm sure you will.

Or invent one. It just doesn't sit right with me. Cheaper to buy three seats and leave two clear rather then just buy one in their designated area.
