  1. That was agony.... Great win for everyone outside of the bottom 3. Sod the top half, it was always about staying clear.
  2. As mascots go.... Who am I kidding, we could find better in the Samaritan's bargain bin. His contract is up in the summer though.... just when that Bale sell on clause could have been sensational.
  3. A place is a place. It wouldn't have bothered me personally, also that we earned it through 'Fair Play' rather then a pyrric cup victory based on crippling over-spending would have a certain beautiful irony to it.

  5. It was obviously something at the discretion of the manager rather then any club policy as things became much more open as soon as Pochettino came in. Will be interesting to see if Reading start behaving in a similar way. I could see the logic in keeping your cards close to your chest but it's not the biggest thing.
  6. Putting my logical head on, yes it would. Still feel a little disappointed though.
  7. Not really. Just no specifics have been given leaving many people drawing false/conflicting conclusions.
  8. In fairness, Carroll has been playing well since returning to fitness. Rickie hasn't exactly been on song recently either.
  9. Stranger things have been known.
  10. Had a go with the Xbox Demo. Really good fun, my unfamiliarity with beat-em ups left me button mashing though. Analogue sticks really do not lend themselves to these type of games.
  11. Completed
  12. Well. Seeing as i'm just a fan with an opinion...
  13. A round at the bar wasted.
  14. I'm sorry. But local bias aside, Seaborne was clearly the better defender. Neither were perfect but Martin got more slack as he was a local lad. Time for Aaron to prove himself. He is pro quality.... time to find his level.
  15. Interesting times. #wearesafe
  16. Sad news. At least his suffering has come to an end. Thoughts to his family.
  17. Yet another weird parallel with us. Anyone remember that cringeworthy ego-stroking media love-in after he emerged from "crunch talks" with Rupert Lowe about his future with us after relegation? Naturally, he agreed to stay (as though he was doing us the biggest favour) and received massive attention for it!
  18. He has done well there/here. A move would suit him, I suspect we have now been promoted far beyond his ability level.
  19. Can't help but agree. Monk seems to have been impressed, and if he is meant to be a big part of a defensive pair for next season, yet is not being played, then is the assumption on my part that he may therefore be playing alongside a player not already with us a bit far fetched? Could this be why he isn't playing, out of a perceived need not to blood him alongside a partner he won't need to get used to?

    El Crappico

He was quoted on twitter today saying it has taken him 3 years to get Caterham 'right.' They are currently the slowest team on the F1 grid!
  21. Considering it's consistency of never being right and belligerently maintaining the facade....
  22. Stop feeding the troll, you are just encouraging it.
  23. I would put Tal Ben Haim in that rather special bracket.
  24. As we are safe, I would use this game to experiment a little. Forren in for Jos, Mayuka to Start. Maybe even call up Targett from the U21's. Not only would it give some fringe players a chance to impress, it'll give the rest of the squad a kick-up the ar*e and signal that performances like the one we have just endured will not simply be classified as 'one of those things.'
