Adam Lallana interview, Saints in Champions League or not?

Better to aim for the moon then never aim high at all. If you miss you still end up among the stars. -
North Korea approves "merciless" nuclear strike on the USA

We need that Rickie Lambert at the front of the attack..... -
When Cortese and Markus had that conversation. "Markus, you know you asked whether I knew of any football clubs that might be an attractive proposition....... well........."

No. Not until it's mathematically done. An injury to one of either Lambert, Schneiderlin or Boruc will put is in a very precarious place.

Realistic target placing next season - current squad?
Colinjb replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Realistic target place with the current squad? Exactly the same, mid-table. Assuming survival, I would expect the squad to be bolstered for next season. -
Turkish. You mentioned earlier in this thread that you are able to effect business growth by a factor of 20 (0.5m - 10m) through stationary supply? I work as a business development executive for a company that works on an 'added value' basis and that is an astonishing claim. How does that work? Incidentally, I am on track to be back in Hampshire by the year's end.

Derby House Fire - Father and Mother kill 6 children

Obviously a pre-planned documentary on BBC1. I am beyond words at how someone can do what that man orchestrated. The calculated risk that the BBC must make in commissioning shows like this though.... -
What a journey it has been. The future is bright.....

Certainly, but that would be great! Progress to the point of integration with the defectors from the Southern League, could they run the two competitions side by side in the mean time? Managing St Mary's YMA from Inception to the football league, to premier league emergence. Could we right the wrongs of those two early FA Cup finals and be the first non-football league club to win the trophy? Tinkering with the 2-3-5 formation also looks like fun. Toying with the W-M formation too.

I got that, but the 'humour' in Turkish's sarcasm seems extremely misplaced to me. Mainly because I suspect their is still a minority that actually think like that.
-
I'll pass on that suggestion.

Oh yes, and this place is often a case in point!
-
Well, considering that my other club was turfed out of their due to ground ownership issues and that points deductions due to financial irregularities are relatively common..... Frying Pan/Fire anyone?
-
Yes, certainly a little more creative then some prior efforts!
-
Well, how would you have phrased it? And based on the circumstances that have come to light, that it was a Chelsea fan with his Saints supporting friend I will absolutely stand by my comments. There really are some utter animals at football matches and it sadly seems that our fanbase includes some, I completely agree with Saintru above too. Football really can bring out the utter worst in people.

No one deserves a kicking for breaking etiquette. Quite wrong. Never sink to the level of those who would belittle you.
