  1. It sounds good..... so far, but we must make the most of it... And QPR equalise.
  2. I would be far more concerned with those below. Survival is what this season is about, there is no significance in finishing 14th rather then 17th for me.
  3. Yes, that is astonishing. No way David Moyes will be there next season now, with fans reacting like that after all he has done for them, time to move on.
  4. It may be more to do with Jos having done well and that it would be cruel to drop him...... i hope!
  5. Any news on the Norwich team?
  6. Frankly, I think some on here take themselves far too seriously. From there the extremes in opinion begin.
  7. Linked in from the match article on the front page. All reaction to the game as it unfolds in here please. Teams: Saints: Boruc, Yoshida, Fonte, Hooiveld, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Cork, Ramirez, Lallana ©, Rodriguez, Lambert Subs: K. Davis (GK), Clyne, Forren, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Chaplow, Puncheon. Norwich: Bunn; R Martin, Bassong, Turner, Garrido; Johnson, Howson, Snodgrass, Pilkington; Kamara, Holt. Subs: Camp; Whittaker, Hoolahan, Fox, E.Bennett, Becchio, R.Bennett.
  8. His key weakness.... I'll give you that, but his mobility, reading of the game and endeavour make him first choice for me. As for lightweight.... must say i've not had that impression.
  9. wrong end of the stick. - edit
  10. Hmmmmm, interesting...... Wonder how much the Leibherr estate value us at though? Certainly more then then the indicated loan value of 10 million pounds I would expect. I doubt NC has the means to do this, unless his other business contacts have that kind of wealth and are feeling generous.
  11. So. Continued underwriting of investment by the Leibherr estate, an operating profit in the first six months of premier league football and continued promotion up to the premier league achieved for £2.4 million net spend. Much better then expected.... though now we are suckling on the Premier League teat we must stay there. Confident we would still be in a strong position to fight back should the worst happen though.
  12. There's no way that the guy in a mere 14th place can claim the right of insult.
  13. Then I must be on a wind up too. Yoshida has been excellent for us this year, really grown into his role well. Not a perfect defender but my first name at centre back.
  14. 22nd most prolific. I'm not sure how to feel right now.
  15. Totally agree.
  16. An excellent reward for a club stalwart.
  17. A return for Davis in place of Ramirez is a no-brainer for me. Hopefully Shaw will be back to full fitness; we need a fox-less 90 minutes. For the back four, I hope Hooiveld isn't out for too long. Yoshida and Jos had built a good partnership, Jos's bravery ahead of Fonte's culture would have served us well last saturday, I can see Norwich playing in a similar style, trying to pick us off on the break. A point would be valuable, a win utterly sensational. I predict 1-1.
  18. What has given you that impression? Incidentally, wind up or not, at least this is a conversation about football on here.
  19. No...... He has the energy and commitment but not the outright ability and craft to be a good defender. It's why he's never played there before, he would be sent off in the first five minutes.
  20. Well, as someone who didn't like the older games (clunky controls, a real caricature of a protagonist), i'm quite enjoying it!
  21. There's been a complete franchise reboot. A new game has been released just this week! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Square-Enix-Tomb-Raider-Xbox/dp/B0051NNWGU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1362600880&sr=8-2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomb_Raider_(2013_video_game)
  22. On the basis of the excellent reviews I've decided to give this franchise reboot a go. Played a little so far last night and have been rather impressed. Excellent atmosphere, good level layout and nice characterisation of Lara Croft. Anyone else given it a go?
  23. On a sixpence these things can turn. Man Utd need two goals with a man down.
