  1. Rather in solidarity with this seasons' Europa league winners (elect).
  2. Don't let Docker P hear you say that!!!
  3. No, that's a fair point, something blocking the water flow would make sense. Either way we've ruled out any issue with the central heating side of things. Bearsy, keep us posted.
  4. No problem. A combi Boiler heats both the shower/taps and the radiator 'circuit' but you are right, they are seperate systems. It could be some trapped air in the bathroom/kitchen tap pipes that is causing this 'banging' when the pressures and air in the pipes shift around. At least you know the central heating is all good. And if he calls you an idiot, wrap a kipper round his face.
  5. Save some money, get some cheap arse value salted tortillas. Just as good for this purpose.
  6. Almost on the same level as the guy who wanted to rebrand Mansfield Town as 'Harchester United....' almost 2 years after the TV show Dream Team ended.
  7. Then you may well have a serious case of air in the system. Is the heating on? If not turn it on, let the radiators heat up and check if any are less warm at the top then at the bottom. If there are any that have some 'cooler' areas at the top, then that's an air bubble. You will need a radiator bleeding key to drain the air off. Most radiators will have a square shaped valve on a top corner.
  8. Most combi boilers have an 'infeed' tap. Before you locate that though check to see if there is a pressure guage on the boiler itself (maybe behind a panel) if it is less then 1 Bar then yes, low pressure. Add water until it's above at least 1 bar. (Do NOT exceed 2.5 bar)
  9. Possible, you may need to bleed some radiators, really make 'em bleed.
  10. Low water pressure I guess. Just a wild guess.
  11. Oh f**k me.
  12. Yes, just saw that too. Utterly incredible. Ok, Red is more symolic of Wales as a whole but for pities sake! Red shirts are the colours of one of their closest rivals, Bristol City. Real madness.
  13. A friend of mine moved to the Highlands (near Crudie.... pronounced Croo-dee before anyone says ) and really looking forward to visiting him and his young family there in July now.
  14. Having never been called 'Concrete Jungle' before of course I didn't. S3 over 4S for me.
  15. Now a different can of worms is opening based on the generalised judgements made by people who hear an accent. The thick/stupid/moaning midlander, the aggresive Glasweigan, the friendly Geordie, the Cockney wideboy, the Welsh tenor etc. Certain areas of the country do elicit these stereotype.... just as you get with the self righteous/scrounging scouser. Sadly, all stereotype are based on some root fact. And the behaviour of large sections of Liverpudlians have perpetuated these stereotypes, particularly recently. Is it racist? I would say not, it is something that transcends race. Is it an irrational hatred? No, most people do not hate others because they have a different accent to theirs, but certain preconceptions will occur. Is that wrong? Well, it isn't right as it is missleading in terms of how you will judge someone, but wrong? No, it's just part of the cultural fabric of this country. The diversity that exists within is valuable, we are all different and the sad truth is that people do exist who provoke and continue the sterotypes in the first place. So, is there any real damage being done? Depends how sensitive you are... it only tends to be the extremes of the population that either take these things seriously or react to the extremes in kind. Lowering yourself to the lowest common denominator will never reflect kindly.
  16. I am looking forward to the fight, even though I don't feel it should be going ahead in the first place. Purely taking it on a sporting level, Chisora impressed me against Wladimir Klitschko. He had a go and although eventually outclased he showed great heart and desire, certainly more then David Haye did versus Vitali. It is a chance for Haye to hopefully revive his reputation as a boxer and for Chisora to prove he has what it takes to truly establish himself as a world class fighter.... and after his truly dreadful fight against Tyson Fury not long ago that is quite an achievement.
  17. No, why bother with a specific digital camera when most modern mobiles take more then sufficiently high quality images.
  18. As someone who has been to Liverpool itself once (League away, December 2004) I was quite surprised that the stereotype of scrounging scousers was immediately confirmed by a friendly local in 'The Stanley,' opposite Goodison Park where I parked. He was proudly regailing how he rips off the state for incapacity benefit and succesfully operated a credit card cloning scam. Whether he is there just for the tourists i'm not sure..... but to have every negative generalisation of a city confirmed in the first 5 minutes of arrival is quite odd. In the times I have visited Jaguar Hailwood though I have met many hard working and genuine scousers, all of whom had made deliberate efforts to move away from their 'home' city.
  19. Good points made. It's been said before but you have to wonder how badly some of our youngsters suffered by being thrown into the deep end in Rupert Lowe's final throw of the dice. Oliver Lancashire, Lloyd James, McGoldrick, Jake Thompson, Matt Paterson et all. Of course not all would have made it, but if managed better they would have surely been better.
  20. I would call it three seasons actually. 1st Season. A Wembly Cup Final Victory 2nd Season. Promotion 3rd Season. Promotion We've been truly spoilt recently.
  21. [video=youtube_share;oO_Ckg5ott8]
  22. The new HTC One S is very good, my housemate has one and he loves it. The HTC One X is one up from that and outstanding, startling quick. I personally like the Sony Xperia S, love the design, feels solid and utterly stunning screen. As quick as anything else on the market and over here quite reasonably priced. If you want the creme de la creme though wait for the Samsung Galaxy S3. I am a fan of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 too, but the lack of flash player in the browser was a deal breaker.
  23. I agree. What more do we want? Saints day last year was a wonderful gesture, but obviously a one off. We had the mother of all parties in Southampton last week, what else could we need? A f**king Unicorn?
  24. Well, I was focusing on the 'League One' wingers point, rather then a direct comparison of the two guys. I do not dissagree that Pilks is a better all round player then Antonio.
  25. The point was 'League 1 wingers.' You can get diamonds in the rough. Best not to tar them all with the same brush.
