I would say a high chance, we're preparing to batten down the hatches here in Coventry, Snow is expected Saturday morning and when it happens around here it's pandemonium (confused locals staring at the sky etc). I enjoy Lager but prefer proper German Halles, genuinely good beer that provides the refreshment for greater taste then the mass produced typicals (Carlsberg, Fosters, Carling etc.) AND it doesn't give you a stinking hangover thanks to the purity laws. There is something to be said for a good pint of IPA on a Summers evening though.

I wouldn't worry, my question has been answered. There is no need for the thread to continue. His signing was confirmed outside of the transfer window thanks to a loophole in international transfers into the football league under emergency loan conditions. If a mod could close this that would be great.

I would guess that's required for interactive features and firmware updates rather then tv streaming per sé, unless you have a smart box that has iPlayer build in (like some modern TV's can do.)

I would feel more comfortable if we did have some more established cover, however, with 3 fit centre backs (fingers crossed we will be back in this position in a week or so) it isn't an issue. The chance of getting someone of quality in to help out may be compromised if they think they would be 4th at best in any pecking order, we would have to therefore bring in someone exceptional to make it worth our while.

Well, seeing as he's our player now, it's kind of splitting hairs, but I put in the news article that his signing was confirmed within the transfer window (it couldn't be agreed when he first joined on loan in September, that's for sure) and it would be good to know if I got it wrong.

I have put in the transfer window news article on the front page that Jos' signing was confirmed within the January window and that has been disputed as: "Jos Hooiveld was not signed in January! We held his registration due to it being an international loan. This allowed us to sign him permanently on 1st December." - SaintNeil90 I'm sure this has been discussed on here before but what is the definitive answer? Thankyou Neil for raising the point.
