  1. Whichever journalist wrote that needs sacking, even I could do better!
  2. Yes, we are the ones with a skewed perspective, when in fact you have missed the point that Drew and David McGoldrick could leave and get a better offer by a club offering terms to his now struggling employer. Totally different to the fact it makes more sense for your players to stay because there isn't a hope of anyone coming in and paying anywhere near their existing terms at their struggling employer. Which may be more then a little part of the reason for the trouble in the first place....
  3. The key word is 'humanitarian,' that's just f**king stupid.

How did you find the training when going from 10k level to seriously long distance? What major issues did you get?
  5. Taking it on face value, 'fine by me.' On a humanitarian level though, if we are looking after things that their own government isn't willing to, it would be remiss to just walk away.

I could believe that. I ran 6 miles for the first time a week or so ago, and getting past the concept of 'I'm feeling great so carry on' is difficult. You are not going to feel great for the whole run, you will get niggles, maybe blisters, a bit of muscle tightening on gradient etc and you must learn to push through it. Keep moving. The recovery after those six miles was only the weekend after. Pushing through the niggles is a definite 'attitude.'

I've been really hitting it hard since Christmas. Currently I exercise every evening. I go jogging Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Start at 3 miles and take it up to 5-6 miles on the Friday) and do British Military Fitness classes on Tuesday and Thursday, 1 Hour of jogging, circuit training drills and strength stuff. It is making a big difference already.
  8. I heard that he was sitting in with the fans yesterday, did anyone spot him?
  9. Ok, watching the highlights, we mistook Fox for Lallana for that tackle in the first half. Now the red card makes a little sense..... in the sense of two yellows for fouls that didn't merit it anyway!
  10. One steward assaulted an elderly guy sat behind me, was unbelievable. I was sat literally next to the home fans and I've never seen such a brutal b*stard of a steward. Most of them were ok but there was a bad egg who just wanted trouble.
  11. December 2009? No, that was definitely colder!
  12. As said in my 'back from the game' thread It took me 3 hours to get to Coventry and home. Godspeed to anyone making the trip. I would say the best thing would be find a hotel and make camp, it is that dangerous on the roads.
  13. It's taken 3 hours to get back to Coventry, the roads around Birmingham are a nightmare. It not the volume of traffic but the snow has overpowered the grit and causing all manner of issues with gradient.... particularly on the A45 on the way out. To anyone on the buses and driving back to Hampshire, my thoughts are with you guys it's f**king awful out there. Godspeed. If that game hadn't been on sky it would have been called off, i'm sure of it. The atmosphere in the away end was good today, quite lively, mainly by people trying to keep warm I think. Such a shame Billy Sharp didn't pull the trigger with our clearest chance. Didn't get chance to see why Fox got sent off as it was at the other end of the ground but we were stunned.... although it appeared that Lallana was lucky to get only a yellow in the first half. A real shame Puncheon was taken off, he looked damn good and was my MOTM, Schneiderlin was however immense too. Any idea where Lee was?
  14. Cheers for the weather report Brummie. I bet we score more then once against you today, just got a feeling.....
  15. Currently -8 C in Coventry. Their under soil heating better be top draw.
  16. Apart from the bizare split nose in the McLarens since 2010 of course. Kudos for the 1993 McLaren though, that thing is sensational, everything about it's proportions are just.... right.
  17. I either dodge it, 'I work in the oil business,' or make a joke with it, 'I'm a lubrication expert......' Depends on the company.
  18. Thus meaning it would match the rest of the 'whites' in my wardrobe.
  19. Area Sales Manager for an Industrial Lubricants Firm operating at the specialist end of the market. I await your smutty remarks, hopefully something original will come up.
  20. Haha. More power to you brother. Not a fan myself Becks Vier is my prefered 'tap' lager.
  21. And thus inkeeping with most other aspect's of the Skate's infrastructure.
  22. Yes, that's because everyone else in the footballing world KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE!!!!!!
  23. I like the de Deportes one. Minimalist and tasteful.
  24. Due to the product undergoing two filling processes (once into the transport container, once into the can/bottle) it will effect it to a slight detriment. If the brewers are doing their job though it should be very slight.
  25. I dissagree, many people do buy into the whole 'made in the uk' thing when it is infact just a repackage. I have done a lot of work recently with Constellation Europe, specifically at their wine bottling site in Avonmouth and certain friends have been aghast at the thought of many of their generic merlot and sauvignon blanc's being packaged here, despite the fact of course that the liquid itself is mass produced near to the original vinyards.
