A good player.... some might say he is almost too good.
-
RIP Thread. It's been fun.

Depends. Is mint sauce available as a viagra substitute?

Personally I couldn't care less just so long they were polite. Interesting how they are treated as a third gender over there rather then just the two gender extremes in the west.

You didn't stipulate 'at the same time.'
-
Maybe?
-
That's what she ^ said.

As the spelling and grammar is all in order, I shall post here. Just a short term deal to begin with then. But next season? Who knows......

All the best to him. Whenever his name was on the teamsheet I feared the worst, but he played a part in the best day we've had over the last four years, the JPT final. Good luck at Yeovil Paul.

Just taken delivery of my new company car..... but my old one still has half a tank of diesel within it. Any hints on how I may be able to syphon it out of the old slug and into the new one?

Was NC handing out dinner invitations?
-
Probably. It was the Eclipse Inn in Winchester.

First Saints Game:- 1995 August. Home v Leeds, 1-1 Draw. Sat in a restricted view seat in the upper west stand. Couldn't see our goal. First Away Game:- Sheffield Wednesday, Jan or Feb 2000. Was sat on the home terrace opposite the away end.... we won 1-0, penalty. 15 year old me had to really bite his tounge when it in. Best Away Trip:- Walsall away last year. Result never in doubt, just before Christmas. Just total fun. Favourite Saints Memories:- The Johnstones Paint trophy final. The support received from Neutrals before the 2003 cup final around university campus (I couldn't get a ticket for love nor money...) Getting Hoddle sacked from Spurs after the 3-1 thrashing at White Hart Lane. Worst Saints Memories:- The Fratton 4-1. Saints 2-2 Everton, THAT VILLA GAME. 2-0 up, 3-2 down. Any time we lose to Coventry. Preferred Strand St. Mary's:- Northam/Kingsland corner. Preferred Stand The Dell:- Milton Road. St. Mary's or the Dell:- St Mary's.. just been to more games there. Best current player:- Richard Chaplow (He is a footballing god.) Favourite Players technically other than Le Tiss:- Beattie, Crouch, Belmadi, Bale. Favourite Players cult wise other than Le Tiss:- Chaplow. Marsdinho. Pahars. Favourite unsung heroes:- Chris Baird Favourite Manager:- Strach. Most hated Players:- Jamie Redknapp. Worst Players:- Andreas Jakobsson, Oliver Lancashire, Jermaine Wright. Worst Manager:- Gray, Wigley, Redknapp. Where will Saints be in 5 years time realistically:- Winning the Championship.

Telephone then collect on the day? - Sell the Carlisle ticket. I wouldn't try buying from an existing purchaser. My Dad was offered £200 for my ticket last night. It would be cheaper buying for the two games, even if you do miss one.

Another 'help me' thread. This time about domestic Gas Boilers

How good are the Baxi ones? I've found a good price on many of them (a bit cheaper then the vailants.... but naturally I've no idea how they would function.) -
The Ryan Smith I saw away at St Andrews that year and against Man Utd would do a job for us right now. Would need to be at the top of his game mind.
-
Dare I say he would be good as an option on the bench right now?
-
Good points well made. We were utter dogsh*t while he played for us. A better team might have been able to carry him but there was nowhere to hide with us. He is a limited player of limited ability but did not deserve the sh*t he received from our fanbase.
-
Oliver Lancashire was a worse player. Why didn't we turn on him?
-
I'm sorry, but Smith was ok. He simply had the missfortune of not being one of our academy lads in an awful team. Smith was a scapegoat, not a great player by any means but certainly not the worst that year. Sadly, in a side inhabited by unprepared academy players who at the least had our sympathy he was a scapegoat. He tried but failed. That is not his fault. It's the manager's and chairman who signed him.

I doubt we paid peanuts for Guly, even if it is an undisclosed fee.
-
Yeah, but it's got to be a fair exchange.... come on now....
-
Did they actually say that? Where the hell did this 'world class' thing come from?
-
Oh god lord.......
