  1. I would actually say 4-1 v Huddersfield last tuesday. I didn't expect a game of that kind of profile. Conceed then fight back with such style. A true classic with some wonderful goals.
  2. My ratings for what it's worth. Davis - 6.5. Not much for him to do, didn't put a foot wrong but I panic every time the ball comes near him.... will take a while for the trust to return. Harding - 7. Excellent forward running and did what he needed at the back, good game. Richardson - 6. Decent game, again, good going forward. His distribution wasn't great. Fonte - 7.5. Read things superbly as usual. Lynchpin. Seaborne - 7. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOF. Read play well, made some good interceptions, but he really needs to learn some culture. Lallana - 8.5. Tisdale himself said he is the best player in the league. Good point well made. Ran the show for us. Says a lot that his stand out performance wasn't overwhelmingly the best on show today. Chamberlain - 7.5. Another good showing for the nipper. Not his best but learning all the time. Chaplow - 7. I rate him as a footballing god. He is a central midfielder who can tackle, shoot and pass. Name us another player like that we've had over the last decade? He worked well today, cog in the machine. Schneiderlin - 7. Showed occasional flashes of brilliance in his passing. Got into some good positions, a good game for him. Do Prado - 9. Almost a complete performance today for him. Created chances, hassled the centre backs and converted. Cracking day at the office. Lambert - 7.5. Deserved a goal today but didn't quite deliver. Was always a threat to the Exeter backline, they were terrified of him. Subs: Gobern - 7. Looked alright when he came on, covered a fair amount of ground and got into good positions. Would like to see more of him. Dickson - 6.5. Didn't do much. Barnard - 6.5. Rusty as hell but took his goal well.
  3. Very annoyed that this game is sold out. Although I have been there before it was supporting my 'second team' Margate, back in their conference days. Was 4-0 to the daggers that day.... I am confident of a reverse in my (our) favour this time. COYR's
  4. This has been a perfect christmas so far. Let's finish the job against Dagenham and really start to press on. That table is a thing of true beauty... yet it could be better still.
  5. It was the Black away kit launch in West Quay shopping centre back in June 2001. Was queuing at the Saints shop in the same shopping centre to buy it with my friend Ro'. All of a sudden, just as we were getting to the front of the shop a blonde woman and her two children push in front of us. Ro' was utterly incredulous and started mouthing off, the woman went quite sheepish, repeating statements such as 'it's ok... really.... we won't be long...' yet that did little to placate her. It was just as she went purple Francis Benali appeared. That was his wife and brood just sneaking in to collect their wears. A few handshakes were exchanged, they cleared off and poor Ro' felt a bit of a ****.
  6. We need a winger. He can more then cut it in the league above and is still contractually ours. Get him back now.
  7. When you start calling it 'male grooming,' then it's gone too far.
  8. Regardless of his current merrits, the worst thing he could do at the moment is move to warm a premiership bench. He needs game time to help him flourish. He will have a long career ahead of him. Patience is a virtue and he should make his premiership debut for us in 3 to 4 years time. Frankly, the fading farce that is Liverpool would be a disaster for him.
  9. A night in with Mrs Colinjb will do for us. A chance to finish off the outstanding drinks from Christmas.
  10. Pretty much nailed it. No way any of those that made their own way could claim back their fuel/public bus tickets. A crap situation for the 2500 souls that made the effort either way. Damn you D'Urso
  11. HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. The old Javier De Pedro rumours made me laugh. 'The answer to the Left wing problem we've been looking for!' Oh, instead we got Neil McCann.
  12. Next on the list. 2 wingers. Another striker. A attractive female physio.
  13. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! That is all.
  14. For consistent form over the entire calendar year. Lallana.
  15. Christ I'm hungover. That game was great entertainment yesterday. How Huddersfield missed an open goal I'll never know. Rickie showing his true form made it for me. Do Prado showed he can be the impact player we need. I'm never lasting all day on just a match day burger ever again.
  16. 3-1 now. Chelsea have finally woken up a little. Either way, about time we had a 'big game' that was this good to watch.
  17. Just two now. Huddersfield and ourselves. And considering the weather in Yorkshire when I left this morning, I can't see the Galpharm being playable.

    Futurology

No, Rudolf Skacel the 4th will be enlisted in the patented Simon Clifford 'Foetal Footy' program. And will be learning his skills telepathically within the womb.
  19. Absolutely. Bring on the wall!!! (Well, they are bound to be thrown to it sooner or later.)
  20. Merry Christmas Skates, may you look forward to the further recriminations of your Pyrrhic FA Cup 'victory' in the upcomming year. Filthy vermin.
  21. My expectation is that I get to see us play a home game every other weekend. So far this month I am severely dissapointed.
  22. The PS3 has free online play. Saves you about 30 quid a year. I have an Xbox 360 though. Love it.
  23. Cats rule, Dogs drool.
  24. Big yes. Wonderful little characters.
