  1. Living in Coventry I get a very even perspective. Before you got into the Prem they hadn't even heard of you. Now they are stunned at what is happening but comments are along the lines of 'that's what happens when a small club over does it.' As for us, the feeling is very much that we are a big club waiting to rise. Also, the statistics posted above do not lie. Now run along you little scamp. Much love x
  2. And another pet skate comes back to soothe his ego in times of crisis by trying to focus on the shortcomings of his nearest and dearest. No-ones perfect, but we are by far and away a bigger club then you, now that the only reason for people outside of your hardcore fanbase to come to Fratton Park has gone, they are dissappearing, accept it, you are back to your bare bones in more ways then one.
  3. The winner of the Cov v Skate replay. Or a large Midland team away.
  4. Quite enjoyed the new years day one until it got to the part where it took HALF a SODDING hour for him to get killed off. Thank god Russell T Davies is gone and Stphen Moffat is taking over. He wrote the best modern episodes anyway.
  5. Completely agree. Mind you it is ITV, what do you expect?
  6. Attendance at the 2008 Cup Holders, competing against a team who very recently had sustained top flight football for 37 consecutive years. 11,214, of which over 3,000 where away fans. Pathetic
  7. Dreadful idea, but nontheless, I joined.
  8. The Saints Web Forum Stadium @ Fratton Park That should go down well.
  9. Unbelievable, absolutely no acceptance that the foundations for the 'best team in 50 years' had been built on sand in the first place. No acceptance that the club was punching dreadfully above it's natural place in the pecking order. No acceptance that the policy of overspending was always risky at best. May their wake up call be long, drawn out and horribly painful for their deluded repugnant fanbase.
  10. Happy new year everyone.
  11. Remember to get Mass Effect, outstanding game.
  12. There could be other reasons, maybe it was considered that continuing to lend a player lacking confidence to a club facing relegation from the football league may be a bad move.
  13. You forgot to put 'billionaire' in inverted commas.

Correct, but Qawra on the other side of the Peninsular from there is fine. And, hate to be pedantic, but Mdina is the silent city, Rabat is just the modern part built next to it. Good work on the spelling of Marsaxlokk by the way!
  15. I assure you that you don't want to!
  16. They will give us a sterner test then many would expect, they have no pressure on them. I predict- 3-2 to us.

The Jewell of the Cinque Ports is a very good option! You can visit all the highlights, the derelict remains of Dreamland, the Brewster's pub by the railway station, the notorious red light district. My goodness, what a delight.
  18. What are we all up to then? Just about to set off down to Hampshire from my Midlands lair, will be drinking it up in Winchester with a few mates. Have a good one guys!
  19. It's Christmas time, there's no need to be afraid At Christmas time, the Skates need hope they can be saved....

Melieha itself is quite nice, it has a fair selection of bars/restaurants but it is one of the more remote towns on the Maltese mainland as it is quite a way up the northern coastline. The buses on the island are excellent though, running regularly at all times of day and Melieha is on the main bus routes. I would suggest that St Julians/Paceville/Sliema would be a great place to look too, that is the main nightlife area with the Portomaso complex especially good. Qawra where Mum lives is superb for milling around and getting access over the island. There is a large bus terminus there and you are within 30 minutes of basically everywhere that matters.

Malta is good. My mum lives over there and I often go over for weekend breaks. Best locations to try are Qawra (the 'q' is silent) St Julians and Melieha Bay.
  22. I love Owlcat.
  23. Therefore their contracts of employment are void? And their prized assets could walk out of the door with no reprisal.

It's quite a poetic message really. Jobsite - Supporting those in their time of need.
