  1. An odd year all in. Good: Kept Job and advanced my career actively this year despite the engineering sector going down the toilet in this recession. Another year gone on the mortgage. New Housemate brought in around September which is helping out massively. No more R*p*rt F*ck*ng L*we. Bad: Mum and Dad seperating.... with a hell load of acrimony due to occur. Shares I held went down the tubes, lost a few grand in that. This summer was awful up until the start of June too and had a frankly dreadful holiday. 2010: Happy time supporting a resurgent Saints and spending time with the new lady in my life (hopefully.) Keeping my head down while Mum and Dad throw the respective s**t into each other's fans and a Pay rise should be due!
  2. Would have reservations about this to be fair. But hey, in Pardew we trust.
  3. Stunned at the fairness and articulate nature of that post. You are surely a Saints fan. No skate could ever be so well spoken.
  4. Really? You think they will be competitive after all players of any kind of value have been sold and they are relying on a youth team in front of crowds of about 10k?
  5. Indeed, it was probably the best excuse ever for leaving your handbrake off. 'Oh no! Now I don't have to charge down that insane slope in a near dead 2WD Land Cruiser!' An excellent episode, although it seemed to pass too quickly, they could have made far more out of it. Extended edition DVD/Blu Ray anyone?
  6. Please, if you do go pop indulge your dual personality disorder elsewhere.
  7. I applaud your good humour PES, but when the house of cards collapses and your miserable, dirty, corrupt, contemptuous little club goes pop I will be toasting with glee. You are of course welcome to jump ship to us and avoid the chaos if you wish.
  8. I heart my Xbox 360. But the PS3 is just as much fun. They share similar games, there are very few exclusives now, you can't go wrong with either. As for Blu ray, I had a player bundled in with my new Tele.
  9. No, they have a responsibility to ensure that the creditors get the best deal possible.
  10. Pre rolled sausages in bacon (Pigs in Jackets.) Those stupid Purfume/Soap/Bath Salt gift sets, you would never get them for a girl other then at Xmas time, it's the ultimate 'I'm male and have no better idea' gift.
  11. And the future Mrs Colinjb is at 2..... Fantastic!
  12. This is why I got up at 6am yesterday to use the 24 hours Tesco in Coventry, avoided all queueing, in and out within an hour, back to bed by 8. Fantastic.
  13. No, I started this thread as I came across the story on the internet and thought it could be a nice thing to discuss whether Le Tissier would be a capable coach or whether it would be a bad idea, I was open minded on the issue and prefered to see how it unfurled. You made some very fair points on the issue to begin with but then predictably as you made a contribution the descenting from other forum users began. Frankly, I intended no personal slight at you for wishing this thread to be closed, but it had clearly gone way off topic and had become another 19C bashing thread. You may have noted I have not directly addressed you or contributed to any issues you are discussing recently, that is because I would rather stay clear of the whole rediculous and purile nature of the arguments you usually attract (even if it is not by intent, you are a somewhat sensationalised figure on this forum, other people react to you as much as you do to them,) but in this case I will make an exception. Your need to attack me for stating my dismay that this innocently started thread had turned into a total trollfest is utterly unneccesary. I expect an appology. I do not expect one but my personal opinion of you would certainly improve if you could show me that you are willing to get off your high horse and show some capacity for empathy.
  14. Have all three my Plaice Pleasuring chum, after all, it is Christmas!
  15. He is so bland that his aspirations began and ended when it comes to winning X Factor. Him losing the Xmas number one is irrelevant.
  16. What the hell!? What is it with these young actors and actresses? I hope this is not something drug fuelled and unneccesary. So tragic when people die young.
  17. Doubt they would laugh, he is out of contract in the summer and can leave for free if he wants to.
  18. I see nothing bad about that at all.
  19. Yep. But then what would you expect from a Miley Bl**dy Cirus cover?
  20. The moment of truth coming up, just about to announce who's number 2. And it is......... Jo McEldery!!!!!! FANTASTIC My faith in the British public is partially restored.
  21. As stated by me previously, I would actually think twice before signing him, his composure was utterly non existant yesterday. Equally though, you cannot argue with the goal scoring stats.
  22. Surely this would finally be seen as 'financial irregularities.' A nice convenient excuse for the Premier League to dock points and no longer have this mess as their problem.
  23. Yes, using Papa like that was quite inspired, limited Leeds on their dangerous left hand side, they still made chances from there, but Papa made many crucial challenges.
  24. Bart's positioning for the goal was poor, dragged far too close to the right hand post, invited Snodgrass to shoot at the top left corner. A great shame. We had two good chances in the game, for them to not show Rickie just scooping past a nearly open goal was very poor.
  25. Based on what I saw today, if he has designs on Premiership football he needs a serious reality check. He would do well to join a club like us or stay at Leeds, clubs with the potential to go places and who mask his weaknesses by placing a good team around him. To quote the steward I was chatting with he needs 5 chances before he even gets close to scoring one, in a higher league he would get found out quite severely.
