He only stays due to one thing: Money. His current motivation will be the belief that he can work our way out of the mire. He will only leave if: a) He gets his shares bought out at a rate he sees as reasonable or good profit over his initial investment or b) All is lost, the club go into administration and his shareholding is worthless. So, either Saints grow and he makes some cash, or the club go under. Only one of those options is likely to occur in the near future. The only fear is if we do go into administration that he does a Ken Bates, buys everything back under a lower rate and then continues further, for me, that would be the final straw, I would actually try and turn away and devote my emotion and effort elsewhere.

I would guess so. Uni is a white elephant in many cases though as it is regarded as an 'experience' rather then a requirement to persue a career, as such it is pointless going to uni in about 60% of all students. The unwillingness to accept jobs such as electricians, plumbers and carpenters in the younger generations as legitimate and worthwhile are the reasons the country is a bit screwed. More emphasis needs to be put on getting a trade rather then getting ****ed and pursuing the arty girls from J-block. A mate of mine took a media degree and promptly retrained to become a sparky on graduation, he now runs his own business and earns 35k + a year. His coursemates are generally flipping burgers.

Two and a half years ago there was at least the chance for change. Right now, I cannot see where it is comming from. Lowe is more powerful then he has ever been, he has no serious internal opposition and the economic climate is such that there is f*ck all chance someone will buy their way into influence. Short of me winning the Lotto Euromillions rollover he is unchallenged.

We are a convinience to Lowe, and as such, your point is well made. F*ck him, F*ck his eccentric ideas and desires. All he wants is a resource to tap into to make his company work. As I understand it Season tickets can be sent back and re-embursed for the remaining games can't they? If so everyone send back and then buy FROM NOW on a game by game basis. Point. Made.

I would say not reinstating Hoddle. He bowed to the fans reaction and vetoed it, it forced him to think out of the box, it hasn't worked, yet no way will he go with the fans thoughts again, no way. After all, they where right not to go with Hoddle, wern't they?

I would rather see the Skates win. I despise Redkn*pp that much. It goes beyond club rivalry, I just want to see that scumball get found out for what he really is. Besides, the Skates are screwed long term anyhow, they cannot sustain top flight football for much longer.

A genuine question, it seems there are many people that believe we could attract a manager of the likes of Dowie or Bothroyd. When in the premiership we had status, the chance for someone young and ambitious, or with something to prove to make a name for themselves. Now, we are below many of the managers who 'failed' with us, we have a chairman who is widely accepted to be the type to heavily meddle with team affairs and transfers, and who divides fans more fiercely then any other chairman I can recall. We also have no financial resources to play with and Lowe has none of his own to put into the pot. I cannot see why anyone would want to take charge here and try to work with Rupert! Help me out here guys.

We are not Nottingham Forest, they are a club that lets a manager get on with running the football side of things. We don;t work that way. No good manager at this level will want to manage us as a result. And because of that, the eccentric tosser Lowe must f**k off.

This is the lowest point Saints have every been in recent times. Sod knee jerk reactions, the proof is in the pudding. Every part of the club is out of it's depth.
