Booked tomorrow off work and looking forward to the game. Nice way to finish what has been an awesome weekend. Great game at the Cottage, beers and curry in London after, now the Superbowl... Think Manning will be too good for the Seahawks, but I expect a close game.

I think you're missing the point, if you were the second bottom team (Hereford), you were relegated. Any side with a points total greater than the bottom two sides has enough points to stay up. You're confusing the issue by trying to add points to a relgated side to make them finish above a side that actually finished outside the relegation zone. How would the number of points hereford would have needed to finish above the team, just above the relegation zone, help you work out how many points are needed to avoid relgation?
-
So are you saying that if Barnet had lost one of the games they actually drew (against a mid table side) and finished on 45 points they would've been relegated, despite them finishing above the relgation zone on 45 points? I'm confused! ;-)

Back out in the cold again then. Seems Aaron's absence had nothing to do with a Cortese policy after all. Shame to see him go, but at least by leaving he should get some first team football in the lower leagues.

Nice statement, but if we're not for sale, why not say so, this is a perfect opportunity to do so. It has been publically stated that no players will be sold (unless Poch wants them to go), but KL has been very quiet about whether the club itself will be sold. I think the statement rules out any "asset-stripping" and it would appear that the club will be well managed and stable during KL's continued ownership, fingers crossed my hunch is wrong and we continue to grow with KL in control for many years to come. But if we are sold, I hope any new owner is not bonkers like Vincent Tan etc.

Awesome! -
That would have been an 8th place finish in the Prem last year, seems pretty good to me.

I'm going to have to take my chances with the official away allocation now, hopefully there will still be some tickets left on monday when ST holders with 1 away can apply.
-
Tickets are only £20 each rather than £35 with digital membership, but the digital membership is £30, so you only make a saving if you buy at least 3 tickets (which is how many I wanted). But when I put the membership and three tickets in the virtual shopping basket, the tickets still show as £35 each.
-
Can someone who has got tickets via the digital membership special offer tell me if you have to purchase the membership first and then log back in to get the tickets? If I put the tickets and membership in the "virtual shopping basket" together the tickets still come up as £35 each.

One way of getting into the champions league I suppose!

Still can't find any details of when the actual away allocation goes on sale.
-
Good performance by Fonte, Shaw, Lallana, and Rodriguez, but Davis was my MOTM.
-
Cheers for all the advice, have found a local company that fir rehaus windows, and the quote is much lower than Anglian.
-
Anyone know when the away allocation is likely to go on sale?

Worked fine for me too last year, did anyone out there have a problem getting in last time?

Got my tickets this morning, my first away since we got back to the prem. Plus a new ground for me. Can't wait. -
Don't want wooden windows, happy to switch to uPVC. Why would'nt you touch the big firms buctootim?
-
Thinking of getting new windows as have single glazing at present and half of the windows are rotten. Any recommendations? Have just got a quote from Anglian for £4300 (after beating down their inital quote of £6k), for 9 windows of varying sizes and a door. We got several quotes last year varying from £7k down to £3k. Is it worth paying an extra £1k for a well known company like Anglian, or would people go with a cheaper but less well known company? Help would be appreciated as I know nothing about windows, and have never been through this process before.

According to this MCN vid it'll be under £5k? I can't believe that will be the case. Plus they say 165kg dry, but on the Yamaha website it says 179kg dry.
