Football Special

WBA even tougher sell as another long trip end of the week to Preston, can't see many wanting to do both of those , especially after so many went to Preston last season https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/preston-north-end-vs-southampton-2627

Would also like to know if Scienza is definitely fit? Went off injured vs Wrexham after being kicked out of the game, was mentioned he played behind closed doors friendly vs Aston Villa but can't find any confirmation of that. Peretz and Larin injuries incredibly frustrating

Yeah thought it was a bit vague , first time we've had tickets distributed like this so hopefully no issues

Lets hope so, hope he's not carrying his own luggage with his bad back, not been a good international break at all for our called up players

Looks like he came on in the 87th minute today so not much action but helped Japan hold on for a 2-1 win to beat New Zealand and lift the Kirin Cup, another international cap 👍 He should be travelling back tomorrow

Any idea if they are just sending link to lead booker to download all tickets for group or each person receiving their own link?

On the bench for today's game vs New Zealand

Yeah not a minute played in either game against Israel, works in our favour at least as he's played a lot of football, him and Manning on way back to Staplewood now so around for preparation for the Pompey game

Wasn't there a Northern Saint on here who mentioned at the time he'd even walked his dog close to the Boro training ground before, please please do it in a Saints tracksuit top a few days before we are due to play them

Yep, last year most football pubs were open and busy-ish at 9am , certainly Cricketers, O'Neills, Scholars, think The Alex as well, see no reason it wont be similar again. No doubt the club wont want to miss out on some £££ in the fan zones as well

Hello Gibbo 👋

None of them know but they post on here to reaffirm their own fears with each other , some of them will be hoping for an 'i told you this would happen moment" but ultimately they're guessing at the moment

What happened to loose lips sink ships?

Fear not my friend, for out of darkness cometh light

Money talks , perhaps Solak had threatened not to invest in Regeneration plans / monkey chicken petting zoo.

Last year at St Mary's their keeper went off injured (Mousinho accused one of our players doing it deliberately) and replaced by a novice , Skates feared the worst....but we didnt even test him at all , mind blowing shitness by Will Still

He *might* be in squad for Asian Cup in January therefore missing games (like AFCON)

What communication are you looking for? There's not much on any Championship club website or social media this week other than updates on international players and some ticket news as nothing else is going on

Dont take it as a given that one more game triggers "a large sum of money" to Arsenal just because Pilchards speculates that it might, very few people will know the specific contract details between the clubs, it might be a milestone but also quite possibly not. If his salary contains a lower basic rate with higher match appearance bonus then thats fine, worth paying additional when needed

Lol. Get the ITK badges out. I have a friend of a friend who works at Staplewood and even within the club there are conflicting rumours

This thread is full of posts that sound like they are informed but none of them know, they're just guessing

Feels like this might be what really does for the owners, if directors had been signing off accounts knowingly understating wages and therefore tax paid on them that should be an easy target for tax authorities to go after. Football finances do make me laugh though, I'd still rather City's owners investing their own cash than Man Utds debt based Glazer leveraged buy out that put the debt on the football club rather than the individuals making the purchase

Absolutely right. Man City/ owners have helped considerably to the regeneration of that area so its not surprising Burnham will have got on well with them in that role , they would have bought a lot of goodwill not that it will be much use for them now

Harry you have no idea so stop panicking , he's withdrawn from the Israel squad as a precaution, having Ramsdale as part of our squad should make us much less worried. If anything happens to Larin then thats a different issue all together.....

You are guessing on that We're still paying his transfer fee installments and wages anyway so he's still costing us Use him
