I actually don’t think Reading’s kit is the worst in the world. I’d rather have that in vertical stripes than the rubbish being rumoured. I thought Palace’s kit from last season was smart. That in red and white would be pretty good.

When I come to power: The Itchen Bridge will be flattened and replaced with a lower, and free to use bridge. The entire waterside up the river will become affordable and nicer apartments, homes, restaurants with scenic walks and open green space in between the water and the stadium. The concourse around the stadium will be widened, Britannia Road moved and larger outdoor areas available. Naturally St Mary’s will be made bigger. 24/7 security so none of the city’s nutters and druggies move in from the city centre. Fast access train exclusive for events with three stops: The docks, St Mary’s Stadium and Southampton Central. My time will come 😇

I think we’re more attractive a proposition than some think. Go back a couple of months I’d say we looked pretty horrific, but we’ve got in a new technical director that is making moves, an owner acknowledging mistakes and stating future plans, new manager in ahead of the supposed title challengers etc.

You clearly missed where it says “yes it’s a loss” - but to make that kind of money back after being piss poor is quite something. I think most would agree they’d have taken a tenner for them. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

Signings-wise: Borja Sainz - I just can’t see Jorwich selling to a league rival, also surely he is destined for better things? I’m hoping Spors has eyed up Evan Ferguson, ambitious but I also think could be a realistic target. We are a big fish in the division this season, I think we’ll be a more attractive proposition as the window goes on.

If we got £8m for Onuachu and £17m for Sulemana after these last few years, then as much as I hate to say it but Rasmus should get freedom of the city. Absolutely ludicrous business to receive that. Back on topic, as said before Dragan Solak has said all the right things that will get us onside and excited, it’s generic PR. There isn’t really anything gospel in what he said, it’s a case of trust. Given he’s resumed control and moved people around and made the right people accountable in the right place you could say he’s learned from failings. The bit I would er caution to is comments about large scale investment or expansion. Equally it’s very easy for him to say”I don’t like to say things because I’m superstitious” if you’ve got no real plan or intentions. It’s swings and roundabouts, I’m more encouraged, but certainly won’t be shelling out on anything until there’s some form of evidence on improvement on or off the field. I’m not made of money. 😂

Reads well, but it’s all talk until anything comes to fruition. Regarding the stadium we’ve heard it all before, they’ll be some on here who will lap it up, and they’ll be some who are more realistic about how quickly this stuff takes.
