I think a Billy Sharp (real this time) winner at Man City in a few weeks will help soften the blow!! Even if they did survive, it could be 20 years before we play them again, assuming they ever get to Round 3 of the FA Cup or Round 2 this year and then Rd 3 (Late entry for Clubs in Europe!!) of The League Cup. Nearly 6 million owed to just 2 players - this hasn't just happened overnight. They have no intention of paying out to a single player if they can get away with it. Ha Ha ... beat me to it. it still amazes me (although admittedly by now it shouldn't) that on one hand they are trying to shame current players with valid contracts to rip them up, yet on the other hand seemingly offer new contracts that a club like Doncaster can't come anywhere near matching, and actively looking at more recruitment too!! Also bearing in mind most of those contracts were quite recently granted, even though they were obviously not going to honour CVA1 or even small creditors, it still seems they haven't, or more likely don't give a flying feck about consequences. Kleber Chala. Tin Man Delgado's buddy to keep him company in the treatment room. Don't think he played 1st team footie for us despite having 86 international caps and winning the league 4 times with Nacional. His biggest crime was not letting us fans knowing it was Delgado"s birthday, which led to The Tinman getting the huff and never living up to his billing. Actually I guess The Tinman was even better at acheiving zilch with us at a much higher cost!! EDIT .... hadn't noticed "the wilderness years"proviso .... however I'd like to keep my boys in as it was deals like this (and airfares and medical costs etc) that contributed to our downfall.
