  1. Just wanted to give credit to the ref yesterday. Hostile atmosphere, he was a sub referee after the first choice got injured (by a coin I think) Gave 2 penalties to the away side and got them both spot on. Even Kenny Jackett expressed his surprise that an away team was given 2 (what that's got to do with it I don't know)
  2. Just back from the knuckle draggers stadium- what an ordeal that was. Having said that a cracking atmosphere throughout. Started well, just about deserved the lead- great work by schneiderlin in the build up. Then somehow we were behind, poor defending for the 2nd- unlike Saints recently. Others feel it was a smash and grab, disgree with that. Felt we shaded it over the 90 minutes, particularly dominant in the last quarter. Felt both were penalties, the second one even more so IMO. Davis. Few decent saves, but not massive amounts to do. 7 Frazer. His form is still not what it was. Too many hospital passes and not getting forward with as much confidence. 6 Jos. Dominant, altho got turned inside out for the first goal. 7 Fonte. Compliments Jos so well. Was influential going forward too. 7 Fox. Decent game, decent deliveries. 7 Guly. Only Lamberts hatrick prevented him getting MOM for me. Put himself about, held ball up well, excellent link up play. 8 Hammond. Not as dynamic as Cork or Morgan, but tidy enough in the main. Only gave the ball away once that I remember. 7. Morgan. Maintaining his high standards of the past few months. Good assist for the first. 8 Lallana. A threat, but not his dominant best. 7 Chaplow. Off the pace. Rightly subbed at half time. 6 Lambert. Strange, not his best game. Some good link up play, but nothing seemed to stick all day. But you can't argue with a hatrick. 8.5 MOM Subs: De Ridder. Definate impact, stretching their defence as they were trying to keep in compact. Was wondering if he could have played the Chung "role" in his adsence, he has the pace. 7 Sharp. Fell over a fair bit, but helped win the 2nd pen. 7 Cork. Not on long enough, kept it tight.
  3. I've noticed that Adkins tends to say if a player is due back from injury, yet he's more vague when admitting if a player will be out next game. So my money, sadly, is on Lee being out for Millwall. Adkins will be happy for the uncertainty in relation to Millwall's planning.
  4. agreed- any other day he would have got MOM
  5. Remember when the Northam turned on him after his spat with Chris Baird? How times have changed
  6. Claridge has definately come out the closet... hes a raving scummer really... when the maniche dude said he was jumping around the room at Lamberts goal. I bet the skates are fuming!!
  7. stop...hammer time
  8. Just got mine... only tickets left are in the Chapel, Chapel/ Kingsland corner and Itchen/ Chapel corner
  9. Morgan- no question.... but Im disappointed the SDR only gets 1 vote... gave their full back a torrid time, one assist and some excellent tracking back
  10. I think "poor" is a little harsh. By and large dominated the game but poor in final third. James didn't have much to do.
  11. hahaha... someone needs to register on NSC as NA and post that as a thread title
  12. BRILLIANT- Poyet has now whipped up a mass media storm around his club... a wonderful distraction for their club and preparing for their biggest game of the season. Cheers Gus!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Im loving this... Not only does Gus regularly do Nige's team talks for him with his disrespectful comments... Now he's created a media storm around his own club before their biggest game of the season. PLANK!
  14. Guly MOM for me. Excellent hold up Play, assist and quality header for third Passing from the back executed to perfection. Should have done better from the corner but we were unlucky for their 2nd, it came off someone's back side. At times we ripped them apart. Loved it when after they had been singing "top of the league you're having a laugh " and we scored our third... Top of the league, we're having a laugh!!!!
  15. I havent seen them yet to be honest mate.
  16. its ok now i think
  17. From Skysports.com... McClaren saw the reputation he had built up at Middlesbrough take a significant blow during his time in charge of England, but he enjoyed success in Holland with FC Twente before a stint in Germany with Wolfsburg did not work out. And he has now set his sights on guiding Forest back into the top-flight, with the club having missed out twice in the play-offs under Davies in the last two seasons. On the right bus "It's a great feeling, especially coming here. You can smell the history and tradition of this football club. I've been abroad for three years and I wanted to get back into English football." Steve McClaren Quotes of the week He said: "Everybody has to work together, on the same page, on the right bus going in the right direction. We will work together to improve this club.
  18. My gut feeling too. I watched the extended highlights of celebrations on Saints Player and I felt Harding's body language didn't quite match that of the others. Just a hunch he might know already. It makes sense, we have so many left full backs, arguably with more talent.
  19. In all likelihood they will lose CMS and Boyd even if they do go up- this will turn them into a poor force going forward to add to an already exisiting diabolical defence!!
  20. Just on the off chance- 1 adult and 1 under 12 ticket required- anywhere. 07740 723647
  21. Yeah, on the pitch now with the players- hope he enjoys every minute
  22. Thank you
