  1. In fairness, my little boy is an under 11 and they always look round when the amber light goes off.
  2. Quite right. Probably because we are the most culturally diverse countries in the world. We understand that not all Latvians are rascist or all Poles are not nice, because we probably know a few ourselves
  3. Sadly, although he was immense second half, there was nothing pinpoint about his passing first half. Plenty of misplaced passes and poor decisions
  4. Terrifying thread title!!!
  5. No Dean, not the same. We never won the league 1 title. Like Gus says..They'll always be remembered for that. We've just got two poxy promotions and playing the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea each week
  6. The most uncelebrated player we have- so glad he stayed, Saint for life
  7. Well dererved and pleased for him. But why do I have a sinking feeling in my stomach? :\
  8. Gaston Ramirez- Bologna to Southampton- £14 million With the ink seemingly about to dry on this one it is easy to see way-and this is meant with the greatest of respect to Southampton- there is an element of surprise to this move. Ramirez has been coveted by a whole host of Europe’s elite; he has everything to his game. His elegant playing style is a joy to watch, his intelligence when in possession belies his age (21), and his all round technique is fantastic. In a world where the diminutive playmaker is now all the rage, at 6ft Ramirez is far more physically imposing, which would stand him in good stead should he move to a more laboriously demanding league. Whilst the success rate of players moving from Italy to England over the past decade is far from impressive, those that do go on to impress are generally not players who have come up through the Italian youth system, but rather made their name in Serie A before moving to the Premiership. 8.5/10 (Chances of it happening today) http://www.sabotagetimes.com/reportage/bendtner-to-juve-and-4-other-transfers-that-will-definitely-maybe-happen-today/ He sounds perfect
  9. place your bets now.... Yoshi
  10. 2 points ... He was top scorer at the last African cup of nations, Id say that means he's good enough. And he has an amazing back flip goal celebration, we need more back flips at st marys
  11. Youre not sure????
  12. Disagree. Cortese was offered the CEO position at Milan a few years ago. I doubt that would've happened if he lacked credibility. Well he certainly doesn't in Italy anyway

  14. He knows as much as we do
  15. There's no way Jack Cork would have cushions like that
  16. Guly didn't have a bad game. He had a good first half and faded a bit 2nd half. He links uP the play well and tracks back despite what people say. Some bloke behind me was shouting "muppet" at him every time he didn't play the Perfect pass. It beggars belief. Guly is easily good enough for the prem and I can't wait for him to shove all these negative comments down everyone's throats. Clyne had got something extra though, could be the bargain of the season
  17. Haha that'll be me then! Me and my nipper are in Block 13
  18. Nathanial Clyne... hes all mine, all mine. Nathanial Clyne... hes all mine (to the tune of fog on the Tyne)
  19. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-fc/liverpool-fc-news/2012/07/31/100252-31512018 Or maybe not
  20. Zonal marking makes sense, stops wasted energy stayng in one "zone". But what happens if two attackers enter your zone??
  21. "My friend" eh?
  22. Saw him saturday, thought they had given a prize of meeting the players to some dwarf. He's that small, borderline dwarf no doubt about it
  23. Totally agree. Lots of chairmen made bold predictions and no one takes any notice. When Cortese says it, you wouldn't bet against him. I think it's his aura
