What was the atmosphere like?

The Welsh Wizard Can remember seeing you and Tommy Traynor walking in Shirley Road when I was a nipper Ron,that was how it was in those days you were our heros but very much part of the community, I must have knocked at your digs a dozen times to get your autograph if you were in you never said No, times have changed mate but your Legend will live forever that famous day at Old Trafford will see to that,I know it probably is too painful at the moment but try to think of some of those great days if things get too dark, hope to see you at St Marys again soon. Maybe under the new regime someone from this site (maybe FF) could write a letter to Marcus Liebher describing this Legend of a man and what he meant to so many of us and just maybe some sort of testamonial could be arranged. SAINT TILL I DIE!

He tore Wolves defence apart at Molyneux and scored a Hat Trick out of the Six we scored, Rubbish he certainly is not,I think its all too easy to forget the chaos behind the scenes since he joined us,in a long season we more than likely will need him at some point,especially with the injury list we have had in recent seasons. He did score 1.2 goals a game at Verona and has started 1 a game at Saints, in his last 12 starts he has scored 12 goals,not too shabby by any standards for a player who is said to be a winger,I do agree with your comment on stats but a goal a game over 12 games is not a bad sample what makes it all the more solid is that they have been scored miles apart in different countries in completely different sides.I certainly am not one to go overboard and reckon we will know more by xmas. respect. No way! His Verona Stats (scored 12 Goals in Ten games) coupled with his start at SFC Prove he is a Goalscorer It remains to be seen how he would cope in the Championship or Premiership,my only worry about him is that he might not fancy a muddy cold english winter as a few African player have in the past, but I reckon he might turn out to be a very very good signing. We are progressing,Rome was not built in a day, what we must remember is that we were on a downward slope for 5/6 seasons, I think the downward spiral has ended, for some clubs it has carried them lower and lower, and eventually out of the Football league,this has not happened to us, thank god we are still in existance, it may take 5/6 seasons to turn it around, but so what? we nearly lost our club anything else in the next few years will be a very welcome bonus.
