  1. Surely the largest effects of a government is the party running it rather than the figurehead?
  2. The quality and value of the squad he has created is not of a relegation standard yet that is the direction he's taking us.
  3. Koeman has spent a lot of someone else's money.
  4. Got to agree really.
  5. Merro said 9 defeats in 11
  6. Over. 9 losses in 11.
  7. Sign up this Puncheon fella!
  8. Any tickets left on the gate?
  9. I'm still trying to work out how a Ed Miliband voter can prefer a Tory government to a JC lead Labour government.
  10. Great. Do they stop selling them online a few hours before kickoff?
  11. That your political position is basically Tory Lite, and you voted Blair everytime because the Daily Mail found him quite dishy.
  12. Errr.... your last post: "I want a Labour government as soon as possible."
  13. You just said you'd rather have DC than JC as PM, therefore you care more about the person at the top than the party in government.
  14. Case closed.
  15. Klopp very ungracious.
  16. Out of interest, who would you rather have as Prime Minister, David Cameron or Jeremy Corbyn?
  17. Has Klopp still got a worse record than Rodgers?
  18. This Liverpool match is making me feel slightly better about them smashing us in the cup. Slightly...
  19. And people are never influenced by the media. That's why global advertising spend is over half a TRILLION dollars. They just love giving that money away.
  20. Apart from the strongest by-election win for Labour in decades, and the shifting of the centre ground to the left. If the Labour leader was currently from the right side of the party and in favour of all Osborne's cuts there's no way people like Boris Johnson would've called for a slowdown or halt on such things as child tax credits. Just by being elected and being himself, Corbyn has helped the poorer half in this country.
  21. Chapel is fine. Taking my 5 year old for his first proper one. Don't want the Northam putting him off too much
  22. Anyone know the current ticket situation? Am planning on walking up...
  23. What earth shattering "good" is he supposed to do within a week of office?
  24. "Not long ago, if you wanted to seize political power in a country you had merely to control the army and the police. Today it is only in the most backward countries that fascist generals, in carrying out a coup d'état, still use tanks. If a country has reached a high degree of industrialization the whole scene changes. The day after the fall of Khrushchev, the editors of Pravda, Izvestiia, the heads of the radio and television were replaced; the army wasn't called out. Today a country belongs to the person who controls communications."
  25. I hear Liverpool fans are generally a pretty over-entitled ungrateful bunch.
