Saw him last night in Oceana, said he should be fit for Sat and doesn't wanna go. Yippe!

Speaking to a mates lad who plays in the Under 13's, apparantly the under 14's are the best youth team we have at the moment, and have gone undefeated for something like two years!! Unrelated but interestingly, also got told all levels of youth football down to the under 10's are playing our stupid 4-5-1/4-3-3 football. Looks like the intention is that the formation is here to stay.

Could be something in it, maybe a similar loan deal swap a la when Dyer went to Sheff Utd?
-
Someone also texted this rumour into Radio Solent...can't see how we could afford Baird back, as im sure Surman+Lallana's wages still get nowhere near to his.
-
Beattie must be on near enough that at Sheff Utd - although admittedly an exception. Can't see us ever paying more then £15k in the CCC...surely?!
-
Sorry to drag up an old post (and one that's actually about football!) but can confirm that Molyneux has spent a few days training with the squad over the past couple of weeks to help bed him in for a loan move in January.
-
Thing is though, if he does walk, then Lowe will just place Wotte in charge.
-
Fairplay to him, got a feeling after today we may see him here as a coach next season. Just a hunch!
-
Corrected for you

Anybody know for sure if Skacel is in the squad-can't find the squad list at all on the OS, so only going by the snippet of a preview that's on the BBC site.
-
I see what you mean. It's just a shame that as Saints fans we have to presume the worst all the time!
-
Yes, but Davies and Lancashire have played with the players around them many-a-time, its not like they're being thrown in at the deep end with 10 players they've never seen before...besides, this would only be the case if 2 out of Perry, Cork and Wotton got injured and that Killer's injury becomes slightly more long term (if not permenant)
-
I too don't get some peoples sudden panic about getting a CB in...Perry, Cork, Wotton and Lancashire and K Davies are all either natural or very accomplished CB's, whilst as you can Schneiderlin can also play there if needs be. And that's presuming the worst case scenario that Killer and Thomas won't be available in the short-mid term future!
-
From BBC gossip page: Lee McCulloch has said he will never play for Scotland again under George Burley after losing faith in the manager just four games into his tenure (Daily Record).

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/s/stoke_city/7572265.stm Just found this, the bottom paragraph seems to confirm what has been suggested here and that Pulis will be here by Monday. Wooooooooooooo etc

that's a load of rubbish! he was always a nice guy and no more arrogant then any of us would be in his shoes! considering when he was at school we were a 'big club' (left school year after fa cup final) i don't really thing we can read anything into him wanting to leave to better himself.

It has just disappeared. How odd!
-
Same as our league game, 2-1 defeat but some encouraging signs and good football.
-
Thomas is listed there, but no Jason Euell or (surprisingly) Jake Thomson. Possibly carrying a knock? Saints squad - (From) Bialkowski, Forecast, James, Thomas, Cork, Surman, Wotton, Gillett, Dyer, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Holmes, McGoldrick, John, Lancashire, White, Mills, Wright-Phillips.
-
Just done the same, is it just the card you used to purchase with that you need to present at the box office?
-
Not sure how well they did in the league last season, nut they were certainly playing UEFA Cup footie. Chances of us getting him are remote at best!
-
Saw him play a handful of games for B'mouth a couple of years ago and he looked decent back then. Spent last season on loan at Scunny and seemed to do alright, can play DC or DMC and would (imo) be a very good signing indeed.
-
Without wanting to start #252578365 slagging off Burley thread, i would genuinely feel safer giving £7mill to Lowe to spend on players then to Burley. And that's saying something!
-
He's followed his dad around from Pompey to Plymouth and then to Stoke. He's injury prone and pretty useless, certainly not any better then what we already have(!) He was a couple of years ahead of me at school and never looked anything spectacular, even back then!!
-
Would be absolutely gutted if true, but £1.5 million for an injury prone defender? It shows what a sorry state of affairs we're in, but unfortunately it is the most viable option for the club. Wonder if it still means Thomas is available?
