Zesh Rehman (CB) and Liam Miller (ex Man Utd) both released by QPR. Presuming (bar a miracle) we don't get JP permenantly, Rehman may be an affordable alternative. Miller is probably too expensive and there's been rumours of him moving abroad, but is ability at L1 is undoubtable. Plus, although ridiculously injury prone and therefore probably unrealistic, Carl Cort has been released by Norwich...the type of player we need up front.

Cheap aswell, good for our budget
-
Are you sure? Not managed since 2001-2002, and according to that article has held several managerial posts around Europe without recording any significant achievements.

Only from what I heard during the commentary on Solent earlier. As player of the year behind Kelvin, it has to be Perry. Thought he would really struggle playing at this level all season but has proved me wrong-as reliable as Size but without the mistakes. Reads the game very well and for a small CB wins a vast majority of his headers. For me has a had a fantastic season.

Turning point for Gillett this season for me was when he got a few boo's around February time (can't remember the game?) for backing out of a 50/50 tackle. Ever since then he's been immense. Started off well with Schneiderlin aswell, all in alll would probs say only KD and Perry have been better then him this season.

Wotton did have a good game, the only way I realised this was other the match when it occurred to me I hadn't once had my hand in my heads after a terrible pass/header with height but no direction. More of the same in the next 3 matches please!

http://www.glennhoddleacademy.com/academy_news.html Some news on some of the players there...is that Fagan fella who's gone to Hamilton the one we had on trial a few weeks back?
-
Somebody mentioned they saw John Motson, is that him directly above the clock, carrying the programme?
-
Thing is, look at our recent unsuccessful managers - Gray, Wigley, Sturrock, JP, Wotte...all 'nice' guys who couldn't get the job done. Maybe a c*nt is what we need?
-
Jeez, at least wait until after the match before slating it! IMO, reckon it could work wonders, be it a simple chatroom or not...
-
That's fair enough mate, I see where you're coming from. Thanks to everyone though, all the completed questionnaires have genuinely been a massive help to me!

Hi guys, I am currently doing my Uni dissertation on the crowd behaviour of home supporters at football matches in highly competitive games compared to less competitive matches, and have chosen our game tomorrow against Preston to analyse this. I was therefore wondering if any of you could spare 5 minutes (literally) of your time in completing the following survey. All help is greatly appreciated! Many thanks! http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?surveyID=KCOKH_70ecfc07 PS. In terms of questions later on in the questionnaire eg ones asking about whether you expect any trouble, please answer in relation to the Preston fans and not in any relation to any Lowe/Wilde trouble as happened at the Doncaster match. Cheers!

They couldn't even finish their food lol etc etc
-
If that's him 'trying his best', then considering his work rate he'll never make it at this level.
-
You can add to that list Ryan Smith aswell, had presumed he was injured after not featuring recently, but maybe Wotte just agrees that he's sh1te?
-
After watching yesterday's performance he doesn't look quite ready to start yet, but he deserved a chance after a few good cameo performances. Certainly has potential, and should still be involved in/around the first team, but yesterday just didn't go for him.
-
There were a few police and stewards dotted around the edge of the directors box which weren't there on Saturday, so I assume somebody like Lowe, Wilde etc were there.
-
According to wiki, Webster is now at Cambridge United...
-
On a different note, interesting to see Euell was not involved in the game, nor Kelvin Davis. Can much be read into this??
-
Could possibly where the likes of Villa are now. If only!
-
As others have said no harm in trying! Any idea how Kyle Davies originally got scouted? Presuming he was picked up straight from the USA, does this mean we have scouts other there, or was he recommended by somebody?
-
How can he be on course for 20 goals?! We've played 31 games so far this season (league and cup) and only have 19 left!
-
JP the most experienced manager in the league?
LeBenali replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
Must have been the season before last then, definitely remember CCC attendances being higher then Serie A at some point. -
Bart, Gillett, Wotton, Gobern, McLaggon on the bench.

May something about the quality we've had this season, but probs one of the strongest teams JP has been able to put out. Should i be optimistic? Go on then, saints to nick it....
