No it’s not. Downes isn’t half as good as he thinks he is.

I think Edwards would have been a good defensive midfielder. He lacks the pace and strength to be a top CB, I think. But he has skill and can pass a ball. I would have kept him and sold one of the bad eggs Flynn Downes.

I really like powerfully visual protests which the Board can’t write off as being a “mob minority”. My favourite is everybody getting in the ground 15 minutes late. Sheff Wed fans did this brilliantly earlier this season. However a large section of our fans are more concerned about drinking in the Sport Republic gulags and singing Scouser songs, so the chance of mobilising them into a co-ordinated protest such as this are virtually nil.
