  1. Sorry, but this is wrong. Everton pay significantly higher wages than we do. If van Dijk has a choice between us and Everton, he'll almost certainly choose Everton.
  2. Absolutely no need to be wearing that abomination of a kit. Red and white wouldn't have clashed at all with Vitesse's kit.
  3. That's quite a big boost for Virgin Media, it's £24 a month in HD for BT Sport if you're a SKY customer without BT broadband (which would include me, but I'm not blooming well paying that). I use Sports Media, which enables me to stream BT Sport. I'll be at the game on Thursday night. Does anybody know if BT Sport are likely to repeat the game on the Friday at all, as I could watch it on Sports Media then?
  4. Answer to question. Yes.
  5. So imagine the situation. Person 1 has a membership card but decides to go to the wrong seat to go and sit / stand with their mates, and Person 2 turns up to claim their valid seat, but they also only have a membership card on them. Person 2 goes to a steward to complain that Person 1 is in their seat. How does the steward resolve this?
  6. Anybody got a working stream?
  7. I reckon there'll be about 25,000 there on the night. I don't see us having a sell-out until the United game on Sep 20.
  8. But doesn't that assume that all ST holders in the Northam buy their seats, rather than represent what's actually been sold? Seats allocated to ST holders would presumably not show up as available until the window ends for ST holders to buy their seats (?).
  9. I'm not so sure. They could insist on those tickets being collection at ticket office only, with some proof required of being a Vitesse fan. Depends on what the dibble tell them to do, I guess.
  10. Mmmm, interesting. Wonder what this means re the tickets which they've already sold in home sections to Saints fans.
  11. You can just imagine the slightly surreal situation of Saints fans on here selling home end tickets to each other, when some of them have been able to get tickets in the (official) away end. Though the unofficial away end may carry slightly more kudos....
  12. Our fans are generally a pretty well-behaved bunch, but if i was Vitesse and the local dibble, I'd be getting pretty nervous about what seems to be a fairly significant number of tickets having been sold to fans living in England. They'd probably be better off stopping home fans from buying in blocks 120- 122, so that it can be a dedicated overflow area for Saints fans. Not sure what they'd do about the concourses at half-time though........
  13. Cheers, nice one. Have just registered on their website. As that is by the half-way line it would be pretty mightily impressive if it was almost wholly Saints fans in there.
  14. I thought Ferguson sold Jaap Stam because he slagged Ferguson off in his autobiography. Though I may be mixing him up with another United player possibly.
  15. Where in relation to the pitch are Blocks 120 - 122?
  16. Alderweireld, Cabaye and another keeper. All need addressing as priorities.
  17. Yup, pretty much how I see it.
  18. I would suggest that a CM, CB and back-up RB (if we somehow sign Alderweireld then that's the last two of these sorted at a stroke) are far bigger priorities than another striker. I like Austin, but Koeman's clearly a big fan of Pelle, so unless Pelle is injured, then Austin would be on the bench if he came to us. He'd be better off at Boscombe, in truth.
  19. I always thought Austin would sign for Newcastle. He'd be guaranteed to start for them, and could be a real hero for them. A virtual no-brainer.
  20. Oh, and is there really a £35 activation fee??!!?? Saw this in the smallprint of an ad in the paper yesterday.
  21. So how much would it cost, as a SKY TV and non BT broadband customer, to have BT Sport Europe in HD without the rest of the BT Sport channels?
