  1. One word, Steve. Redknapp.
  2. If Boscombe do not fall foul of Financial Fair Play rules in the next three years, I will consider eating my garage.
  3. I just hope he doesn't sign for Boscombe and score enough goals to keep those peasants up.
  4. Mmmm. Different bench to warm, I guess...... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-rickie-lambert-liverpool-transfer-5635162
  5. Think they're showing the Mayweather - Pacquiao fight tomorrow night as well. When it's working well, Sports Mania is really good. Though I do find I sometimes have to use NBC and Offside Streams as back-ups.
  6. I like Pearson. I hope he keeps them up, but it looks like he needs a break from the game for his own sanity. I'm not sure how managers are able to do these post-match interviews and press conferences sometimes. I'm p1ssed off enough as a fan if we've lost, and am usually in a foul mood for an hour or so afterwards. Have no idea how I could face a mass interrogation after a defeat.
  7. Totally agree with all of this. I started watching Saints in '91 as well, weirdly.....
  8. Edited for daft typo.
  9. A large part of me thinks that Alderweireld's repeated comments that he would like to say are just good PR on his part, so that he doesn't get any grief from the fans. Even if his wife does like the Southampton area, ultimately money talks. Both for Atletico and Alderweireld.
  10. Higginbotham was a very average player, but speaks very well as a pundit. I think he could have a decent career as a pundit. He's a million times better than Savage, FFS.
  11. We have a top-notch back 4 and centre-midfield which have protected Forster all season. If they're on their game, they'll ensure we don't miss Forster too much. That said, I'd have preferred it if we could have got Boruc back.
  12. Yup, agreed. Best pub I've been to up there.
  13. I go to football more for the atmosphere than the football itself. I was going to buy a ticket in the Itchen North for the West Ham game, but it's £40, the atmosphere's poor, and I can have a few beers at home and watch it on NBC Sports; it's a bit of a no-brainer.
  14. We should offer Burnley £10 million and just do the deal. In the current market, it would be a fair price, regardless of his contract situation. There's no way we'd get him on a free in the summer.
  15. Can't be true. Roger said he wouldn't have been at the game today......
  16. Word on the Ugly board is that Ings was in the Itchen Stand today watching the game. I do rate him, am sure HDCAJFU.
  17. Could he do an Alex Song and retire from international football? And then change his mind in a month or two......
  18. Agreed. Have found this to be better than Sports Nation HD over the last few weeks.
  19. Not sure I'd agree if I was an Everton fan. If we had just lost 3-0, would we be pleased that two of our star players had given their shirts to opposing players? Just goes to show that players haven't properly supported a club.
  20. He looks to me like he should be playing for a team like Walsall or Crawley.
  21. Sports Nation HD was absolutely flawless on the iPad, until it lost the picture in the 86th minute, and didn't return for 5 minutes.......
  22. On Goals on Sunday now.
  23. Itchen Corner was immense fun today. The second-half was superb in there.
  24. Am in row JJ of Block 1 tomorrow. Hoping it will be pretty lively.
  25. Is Crooks not the guy who said that James Morrison at West Brom should be considered for an England call-up? Despite being a regular in the Scotland team.......
