Sports Nation HD was not great in the first-half for me, froze a few too many times. Switched to Offside Streams for the second-half and watched it on Sportsnet World HD, which was actually a lot better. Sports Nation HD is an excellent quality picture, but it freezes too much for my liking.

Sports Nation HD was superb today, and that was through Google Chrome. Only froze a couple of times all game. Excellent picture.

Yeah, I have this as well. Not entirely sure how legit it is, it seems to work in much the same way as Offside Streams, which I'm fairly sure is illegal. I got a bit of grief on the Digital Spy Forums "Online Entertainment Services" forum thread about Premier League football, for talking up Offside Streams. As I mentioned above, I'm just intrigued to know what is the best combo for a DNS/VPN and search engine provider.

I used Sports Nation HD on Saturday. It was indeed an excellent picture, however the major problem I had was that the picture froze on a pretty regular basis. I'm on a high-speed broadband at home, so this shouldn't be happening. Just wondering if it's due to using DNS as opposed to VPN? I am using Unotelly Smart DNS via Google Chrome. Would be interested to know what other people are using in terms of DNS or VPN? Also, would Firefox be better than Chrome? Cheers in advance.

I think this has been the case for some years, possibly as far back as Michael Owen negotiating a Bosman transfer to Real Madrid from Liverpool some time before the end of that particular season (which I guess would have been 2003/04, the season before they won the Champions League).

So with NBC, if you can get an American E-mail address, how much does it cost to subscribe to NBC Sports?

Have just received my "Dear Potentially Sneaky User" E-mail from PLP. Swines. Am going to look more into the NBC option ASAP.

I would ideally like to get a subscription to NBC, but it seems you need to know somebody in the US who will sell you their login details, and that seems a bit dicey to me. Am still with PLP (though expecting to be barred from it anyday) with SportsNation HD, Star Sports and Offside Streams as back-up options.

Did Sports Nation HD switch from streaming the Sky Sports picture to NBC?

Yup. Still lives in Poole with wife and kids. Kids were at same school as my kids while his kids were on the waiting list for a school in the posh part of Poole, which they were ultimately able to get in. He was on the school run more regularly than I would have imagined likely given the demands of his job.

I don't think we'll be signing anybody before the window closes.

The only way we'd sell 9,000 tickets for that game is if we'd never played at the ground before. If it's on telly, we'd probably sell about 3,000 tickets. If it isn't on TV, maybe 5,000 tickets. Think Arsenal tend to charge their own fans cheap prices for these sort of games, so it may be close to a sell-out.

Burnley have signed a core of players with decent Premiership experience, who are good characters and will not upset the strong team ethic that got them promotion. It's extremely sensible management. Bit surprised that Matthew Le God is critical of this.

I also have Offside Streams. Think it's illegal though, I got told off by Digital Spy Forums for referring to it on their mega thread about football streaming on their Online Entertainment Services board.

Can't see Joel Ward signing for us. Good player, but a proper Skate, think he's from the cesspit. Would be great if we could get him, the Skates fans would be fairly gutted, I reckon.

No chance of Saints signing Townsend. The £12 million bid has clearly been leaked (either by Townsend's agent or Spurs) to potentially get a bigger payday for Townsend from QPR or another club, and possibly also to unsettle Schneiderlin some more.

Watched it on PLP. Was pretty decent. Occasionally slipped out of HD quality, but couldn't complain.

Have just taken out a 1-month subscription to SportsNationHD as a back-up to PLP.

I am yet to receive this E-mail from PLP, but am half-expecting to get it at some point. Just wondering, did you subscribe to PLP at the Taiwan price of about £30 for the season? I wasn't brave enough to try blagging that, and was just paying £10 a month.

Of course he could have replaced Lovren. How many left-sided CB's are actually left-footed? Isn't John Terry a left-sided CB?

Sounds about right; they usually do a free trial for 10 days or 2 weeks to start with; well, they did when I first started using Unotelly.
