Christ, this is an all-time first. I completely agree with Manji.

Yup. The Ugly Inside was superb. I also really liked On The March, though I suppose the notoriety it got for the Branfoot cover probably didn't help it.

I would be astonished if he left Celtic to sign for Cardiff.
-
It would be harsh on Cork; he was a pretty key player last season.
-
I'm guessing the African Nations Cup is the year after next rather than this season. If it was this season, I'd be less keen on Wanyama.
-
So who comes out of the current team to make way for him? I'm not convinced this is a position that needs strengthening.
-
Whoever it was (Pilchards???) who gave the detailed report of Pardew's first training session at Saints whilst hiding up a tree. That was comedy gold and also a real service to us all. Superb. leftback was really good until he had to go.

Fewer Saints matches on TV next season

Does this mean better quality online streams should be available to all? -
If he's still with that Tulisa, then probably best avoided.

Darius Vassell. God, I remember our fans desperately hoping we would sign him a few years ago.
-
If he's at Saints at the start of the season, but still doing interviews in Spanish, it will make me wonder if he is in it for the long haul. He will have been here for 7 months by then, surely long enough to be able to conduct interviews in English.

Pictures that Sum Up Saints' Premier League Season 2012/13

I guess the pic of both Adkins and Pochettino probably most closely defines the season. -
This summers dream signing would be??

To answer the original question, I really rate Maloney at Wigan. If they go down, I'm sure he'll go to a Prem side, but not sure one of the top 5 or 6 teams would go in for him. On the assumption that we and Gaston decide to part company this summer (which I strongly suspect), I think Maloney would be great to fit in behind the striker/s. Top priority has to be a strong CB, but Maloney is the sort of player who I think would excite the fans, and also have an end product, which sadly isn't always the case with Gaston. -

Am I the only person to think that Cazorla is totally over-rated? I suspect I possibly will be. -
It is beyond me as to why a cash-rich PSG would want Wenger when he hasn't won anything for so many years. They'd be better off sticking with Ancelotti.

I did wonder what The9's stance was on the Giroud sending-off on Saturday. To me, that was a slightly less bad tackle, as he seemed to me to get a lot more of the ball than McManaman v Newcastle, but again I thought it was a red card, as the follow-through was potentially career-ending for the opponent.
-
Halsey didn't see it, one of the other players was in the way. If he had, he would have sent him off.
-
I would not advise arguing with The9 about the McManaman tackle against Newcastle. I have argued with him about it for quite a long time, he is fairly entrenched in his view on this.

That guy on the panel on Question Time on Thursday night. Mark Littlewood. Was wearing a Saints tie. Was very right-wing in his outlook.

After 8 games, what are your thoughts...
Pat from Poole replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Think the responses on this thread may have been rather different after the QPR game. Almost proves that you are only as good as your last game. I am still not convinced that Pochettino's pressing game will be a long-term success; if even the likes of the tactically brainless Redknapp can outfox him, it makes you wonder how many others will suss it out. -
Claire Perry is intensely unlikeable.
