  1. yea, thanks for investing in SFC, you know in was a fantastic deal and the return will be tremendous (if things work out on the football side as you are hoping), a club worth maybe 3 or 4 times the 12 million you invested. I take nothing from the takeover, i will enjoy the ride and be thankful that we have been taken over by a proper businessman, but these posts above seem to suggest that ML was some sort of guardian angel sent by God to rescue us. ML will enjoy the ride too, look at him at Wembley, i am not suggesting he does not care, but its all abou the deal and the return for him, nothing more, nothing less, and i suspect it might be good one, so you got to ask yourself one question: Who should be thanking who?
  2. so if i am NOT warned to murder a child then i should be alright?
  3. except the Boro equaliser in the 2 goal giveaway that got us relegated?
  4. Timmy Flowers
  5. if silence was loud, his reply might sound like an avalanche! Funny when you put a usually vocal pragmatist on the spot and they haven't got a clue.... I'll leave it at that for now, i've heard enough to view his posts with the relevance that they respect.
  6. like the Murphys eh?
  7. cause its not good enough from his armchair in Switzerland!
  8. I think a few people made it from further, Jesus, Suisse, a 200 quid Easy Jet journey to London, a real effort. As for a 2 month old baby, so what? We've all had them mate, the world doesn't stop (unless you are saying you a single parent in which case i would apologetically take it all back) and they dont notice much at that age, lame argument to say the least.
  9. you went to Wembley did you? I don't know but if you didn't then you really are a 'plastic' fan. People like you come on here and **** and moan all the time and don't even go, maybe you are just 'getting a rise' and people like me fall for it?
  10. We have a minutes silence when the mother of an unelected woman who is 'put' at the head of a ridiculous and outdated system called 'the monarchy' dies but when two genuine heroes from 'our' city die trying to save other people the club ignore it. This club isn't just about football, its about the city, when Saints win, Southampton wins, when Southampton loses then Saints lose a bit too.
  11. like fans who dont even go to games eh?
  12. wasnt he in Hi De Hi?
  13. you sure??
  14. I'll be there as will I every saturday, for me its about the team, having a beer with my mate and hoping i get the 1st scorer etc. Dunno, maybe its just a ritual that proper fans just can't get out of, regardless of the results?
  15. So we should have played 4-2-4 for the hell of it, nothing to lose, time to excel blah, blah, blah.... and then if we'd lost (against an in form side TBF) you would have been fine with that would you?
  16. don't go then, if its just about winning God knows why you have stuck with SFC for so long, and if its just about winning then relocate to Salford or west London and if its just about winning then you're supporting the wrong club.
  17. +1, exactly
  18. at what point did he say that?
  19. yeah, he bought it as a business venture, but Saints fans' have outlived every owner/chairman etc since it began, so 'metophorically' speaking, it is our club.
  20. sorry mate, you always need leaders, did you not see Masterchef last night?
  21. not for most of us.....
  22. if only people wouldn't fling their bloody chicken fried rice everywhere, we'd be in the EPL!
  23. from a another post but more valid to this now... Good post, exactly how it was and is now, the question is do e need a group that we can all support. I understand SRS's concerns about The trust and people like Perry and Rich Chorley, its valid especially the ST supporting RL, that was pretty unacceptable by anyone's standards! Though things are going well at the moment they have gone well before, even during the tenure of RL, remember this is not ML's club, its ours and we will always need to be heard by those running it.
