  1. would have thought that there was a set allocation, i.e. up to 25% if we wanted that many, so they would have to offer the set allocation first before selling those seats to theirs. It might be that we do not take up the full whack then they could sell those seats to theirs.
  2. who's delaying, us or them?? and why would they/we do that?
  3. seen on the MK Dons website that they are now selling tickets for the 1st leg, we are still waiting, anyone know anything like when they are on sale and how many are we getting??
  4. here, here
  5. The only problems Papa were causing was to the linesman's arm! Him and Antonio might as well be the same player, if we have to rely on these two after Jan then its going to be difficult
  6. Thats his neighbour, if truth be known Mickey has become mentally unstable since his Saints career ended abruptly (twice) and he failed to land the asst managers job when IKEA opened in town. Roger Knowles (his neighbour) was quoted as syaing "if you mention the word Saints or even Southampton he goes mental, and he has taken to flinging meatballs into other gardens, its gets right messy"! Therefore there is a mass exodus of the small gated development (known as Rownfork) as neighbours have had enough. The police were called on firework night when Micheal alledgedly stuffed a banger up the arse of No5's tabby!
  7. yeah, you're right actually, we are rubbish, don't know why i bother going really cause its so bad. I thought last season was the worse but you have woken me up to the fact that this season is even worse. Thanks, because without your insight i would be thinking that we were doing okay, and thinking that this season was one finally for a bit of optimism (not seen since the days of WGS). yeah we are in the bottom 4, we had a bad start but we have bought decent players, we have kept hold of better players and we have a manager that has a 'proven' record of doing this before and a board that seem to actually want us to succeed. But no, its simply not good enough, glad you let me know how this feeling was wrong.
  8. Can we wish Dave Coakes well too with his cancer treatment, thanks.
  9. Is to get back out there and win the next game. Norwich can't come quick enough, because no matter what these pathetic knee jerkers write tonight i think we are a good team, but we were beaten by a better one (on the day) today, it just seemed like a bad day in the office when nothing seemed to go right and we all get those, and so do the likes of Chelsea, Manure, Real Madrid. So if we can just carry on, put this behind us and get another 8 match unbeaten run then that will do for me.
  10. Why you would buy that amount of shares in a company run by a group of useless mercenarys is beyond belief, sorry for your loss mate but you would be better sticking with ISA's!
  11. Jesus, if people like Derry and DellDays were running football then what a poor atmosphere it would create, as I said before, nothing against people who like to sit down in The Chapel/Kingsland etc, but to take the vocal support out is just pathetic, and thats exactly what you seem to be advocating. You seem to think that there is a problem in The Itchen because the back rows stand and hurl a bit of tribal abuse at the away fans. God forbid you ever go to 'working class' football grounds (please NickH don't judge my opinion of working class, obviously I have no idea of where you fit into things in respect of class, but it is without doubt the working class that created football, have stuck by football and even though they for the last ten years been tried to be eradicated from football, they have still stuck by football and you take the working class out of football then you might as well pick the bloody ball up, just like some certain boy did once, and that was in no east end comp!) like The Den or Upton park or even FP, you won't be able to contain your anger at the atmosphere there.
  12. Lets just take the working class out of football Derry altogether Derry, guess that will sort out any problems
  13. So theres a problem in The Itchen? Jesus!
  14. Yes, i do and if they get offended there is the family centre and kingsland etc, you're really missing the point.
  15. I guess you have a more peaceful experience at the cinema, why don't you just settle for that. Personally I don't want to watch a football match inside a morgue and if swearing and chanting is banned etc I won't be going, Saints Fan first, goes without saying, but Football Fan second and they go hand in hand really. Anyone would think all this banter leads to mayhem outside, I mean how many people have had their throats slit or even met up outside, it generally doesn't happen, therefore the banter is generally good natured even though it may not look like it, and everyone knows by now which are the 'nice' areas of SMS and at the moment its not really an issue getting a ticket anywhere in the ground. So you DD, can enjoy your popcorn and flask of coffee under your tarten blanket in the Kingsland or Chapel without any feat of hearing any 'nasty' words or God forbid someone standing!
  16. Phil, just an irrelevant question, are you big Phil, good mate of Neil who was wearing a Saints shirt the day we got walloped 5-1 at Newcastle and we were then chased all over the place whilst franatically trying to remember where we parked the car?
  17. I bought 2 kids tickets on saturday no problem, in fact they were free which was a bit bemusing! Got my ST in the Itchen North and quite happy where i am thanks, don't wanna stand in The Northam though nothing against those who do as with the lads that stand at the back of my stand. It does make me laugh when you get a load of people on here slating those who want a bit of banter with the away section, Jesus, you obviously don't get being a football fan. To me its firstly about Saints winning, second about meeting my mate for a beer and a laugh and lastly but just importantly its about being tribal. its one of the last traits of mankind and though this namby pamby world is all very well to bring up your kids in, just remember where we came from and what are instincts were (on a broader scale, its the reason while we will suffer in places like Afghanistan and the middle east because they still have this instict in abundance and though it will eventually 'westernise', it will be hard work until then, you only have to ask the Russians, anyway, i digress!). And so sorry for being a 40 something who wants to "stand with his arms wide open at the away fans" etc, I don't care and i enjoy it and generally people don't have a problem with it around me as i don't have a problem with them sitting tight. Finally, i took my six year old boy and I told him he was going to hear some bad stuff (a lot from me maybe) but the thing was it was it said, or sung or shouted in the ground, stays in the ground, if it doesn't then he won't be going again, and he's been fine, no problem whatsoever. So one day he well might be joining in, so what, as long as he is a responsible individual on the outside who generally doesn't cause problems to other people outside then i think he (and me) can do the 'tribal' chanting and baiting and rejoicing and generally arse about for 90 minutes every other week or so. So sorry if it offends anyone who doesn't understand what it is like to be a football fan.
  18. Wodger
  19. Not true, already said this before. It was Shearer who ended up in goal at Newcastle and so then came down here, Gazza was offered a trial down here but did not want to come. Thems the facts.
  20. going back in the pool
  21. Since 1988 for me supporting this team, except for the WGS period, its always the ****ing same, we cannot ever stay ion front
  22. it just wouldn't be Saints would it if we'd hung on
