It is funny because it is probably a handball, Theo should have gone, Armstrong went down at the slightest touch, but don't they all (Mo Salah), thought the JWP foul was outside the box anyway, the one by the line was not a pen. But surely all we have to do is post the challenge on Ings last season at their's, not given, they go up the end and score their first. And the back pass that was so obvious everyone saw it except the ref.

Agreed. There seems to be an unpleasant, almost racial (I know, but it is similar) element to the hate for the club. I can't stand them myself, because of the players they have had from us and because of their air of entitlement, but that is evident in a lot of Big Six clubs (and Everton). Clearly there have been disasters that have affected attitudes such as Hillsborough, which of course was not the fault of the fans, but the police. Heysel was different because that was disorder that led to innocent lives lost, however it is claimed that there was a significant far right element from other clubs inciting the violence. I would say that Liverpool could have taken more responsibility for the tragedy and they seem to reflect on it like they do Hillsborough, i think the two were very different. However, every time i go to Liverpool, i generally find their 'proper' supporters decent enough, fair in criticism or praise. So whilst i will be the first to stand up and banter with their fans (when we can again), i won't be singing 'always the victim..." etc.

Great Nigel Adkins article link below this too.

Yeah, must have been watching something different to everyone else. Thought Ince was okay actually and JC not too biased, how shit Liverpool are is a bigger story than how good we were. Just the laws of the media game unfortunately

It’s okay done it, made a big difference except found out my passwords has been compromised.

How do you do that on an iPad steve?

Chelsea

what a load of crap. its great to win but if anything, Walcott could have been sent off, Stephens handball in the first few weeks would have been given and never saw Mane dive in this game, not penalties but contact. Thiago's further fouls didn't warrant a second yellow. Don't be Garth Crooks, be objective.

which bit did he say that?

Southampton have won 10 league games against reigning Premier League champions, beating all six different teams to win the trophy when defending their crown (Man Utd, Blackburn, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Leicester). They could become the first team to beat all seven Premier League champions in the season following a title win.

Hopefully there won’t be pressure to have an unnecessary (at our place anyway) minutes silence for Gerry Marsden. guess they Will be wearing black armbands and sky will have a love in field day with JC leading the way. And he is famous for a song he never even wrote.

They should have never taken our season ticket money

He is not that good anymore.

Calm down FFS, he didn’t say that, He’s telling you what Clattenberg said, and he did say that.
-
haha, it was along Britannia Road, but feel sure that wasn't the first and last time, so no doubt yours was actually a different time.

Yeah but many aren’t eligible because of where they live and some have opted out. So pretty confident it will spin after Arsenal game.
-
So, still unsuccessful in the ballot. So, i am guessing that I will almost certainly get one for West Ham, Liverpool or Arsenal, so you think that would be enough games to get back to square one? I hope they are not including the reserve game in the FA Cup, wonder how they are going to manage selling 1600 tickets?

Fuck. Decent guy. Remember him. After a game against someone, might have been Cardiff or Bristol A couple of their Lads giving it some after them winning, just singing and that, but really annoying for us. He suddenly stops, turns round and says “you’ve had your day out, now fuck off home”, they shut the fuck up, there and then. didn't really know him aside from the respectful nod and alright but seemed like a decent fella

Harry Enfield, what a legend back then, not so much now. definitely not Bob Dylan

It’s forum, so you don’t have to say nice things. here’s something nice, “it’s good to know that he didn’t kill anyone on his drug and drink fuelled drive up the M3 and no doubt many more times “ so that’s nice for those who survived.

The last 38 Premier League games = 64 points for Saints
Noodles34 replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
That’s a joke, right? -
Turn up at 10-30, this whole malarkey seems not even worthwhile. I think if, we’ll when I get a ticket, I’ll give it to someone who thinks they might enjoy the experience. All this bollocks and yet you can cram into Sainsbury’s at Hedge End.

So people have to agree with your point of view. I mean the word tool, it’s hardly majorly offensive is it? but you use ‘Scummy turds’, can you see the irony of your post? seriously, people like you who can’t handle someone’s else’s opinion need to jog on if you can’t handle it. I’m allowed to not like him and be reasonably polite in calling him a tool, I mean you clearly think it was fine when he was arrested for driving over the drink limit while off his nuts in coke? That’s okay then, if he hits a kid that’s okay cause he played for Southampton FC? he crashed his car FFS and then shortly after he assaulted a woman, his missus I think, but ‘Our Claus, in the middle of our defence’ , he’s a fucking hero, Seriously, do me a favour, he’s a tool and I’m glad he is recovering and helping others, but for what he did, he’s a tool, but you think that’s okay and ima scummy turd for pointing that out. You couldn’t make it up

My description of him being a tool is not based on his ‘problems’. it’s just based on him full stop when he was with us. Just my take on him for various reasons. as for his after football problems, we’ll at least he could afford a regular cocaine habit eh, Its good that he is helping others now, kudos for that but in my opinion he was a right knobhead when he played for us, before his ‘problems’.
