However, it wasn't the on field ref's fault, it is all down to Moss.

If that is true, and you would suspect it is, given their track record, that's about as low as you get. That money would have been a big difference to his life changing circumstances, younger people on here have to realise that whilst footballers were always paid well of course, it was nothing like the disparity you see now.

A lot of people on here moaning about all of this will carry on paying subscriptions to Sky and BT. This business model can only work if people pay to watch it and the people in the grounds won’t help. It’s all about the TV rights and subsequent sponsorship deals, which will only work if people are subscribing. No subscribers, no business. Effectively, it’s down to the fans.
