That was ‘one of those great nights at The Dell’. I distinctly remember a mate had put some money on us winning the treble that year, yeah I know, but we were so hot. At halt time we were taking the piss but he was laughing at the end. My favourite season without a doubt.

Not sure why we don’t give him another go, god, he’s better than the wardrobe and arguable could give macca a run for his money. Maybe the loan spell has helped, which I guess is the ppoint.

yes and independent from the group that run the pitches and lines. I think Moss tried to throw Friday's referee under the bus. A new, young upcoming referee threatening an old, fat guy (which I appreciate does not narrow down to one individual) who sees his pay cheque disappearing. However, it wasn't the on field ref's fault, it is all down to Moss.

If that is true, and you would suspect it is, given their track record, that's about as low as you get. That money would have been a big difference to his life changing circumstances, younger people on here have to realise that whilst footballers were always paid well of course, it was nothing like the disparity you see now.

Saints first million pound player, lived locally, shows you how crap they are now. pas others have said, a lot of pressure on him when Arkham opened his biscuit tin at long last and never really performed that brilliantly but listening to him on Solent, sounded like a decent guy despite being resigned to play for them.

This sums up the problem with our manager. He should know who is better and stick with it, that’s what he is paid for, well, at the moment.

A lot of people on here moaning about all of this will carry on paying subscriptions to Sky and BT. This business model can only work if people pay to watch it and the people in the grounds won’t help. It’s all about the TV rights and subsequent sponsorship deals, which will only work if people are subscribing. No subscribers, no business. Effectively, it’s down to the fans.

Yeah, remember when Rooney was going to City and Gerrard to Chelsea, unbelievable at the time, how could that happen?

Have you seen us play recently? Even without the top six, we’ll struggle. We don’t often beat them anyway, so not sure how this would change anything for us.
