It annoys me when people on here talk about McQueen and Targett not being good enough. I'm not saying that they are wrong but does that mean we bring another Cedric Soares or Wesley Hoedt? Average players that seem to be perceived as better because they are foreign. Seriously, can we not find a fb and cb that is English and as good as them? If we played McQueen and Targett regularly then like Stephens and Yoshida, they would improve. You know, that was the best thing about Poch, he wasn't afraid to play the players that could be good enough.

Personally i am surprised that its not being shown on a big screen in one of the squares or parks that frequent Barcelona. This is the time when you have a 'fans' vote. So perhaps the young guy Obafemi who came on against Spurs should get it. I'd like it if no one voted for anyone but that's not going to happen, so what better than vote for someone totally random to show our contempt. To be honest, he probably has played with the most heart out of anyone anyway.

Well said mate, like any of these decent players wanted to stay. There's a lot of things wrong but to say we should have kept all the players is folly, we kept VVD, that worked out well. We kept Spiderman but on the promise of him leaving. They don't want to stay and eventually we'll get found out by buying players that are not good enough to fill their boots. Like you said, it could have been a much worse six years and arguably could have been better, glad I wa thee in Milan and Prague and Wembley as well as seeing us win at pretty much every ground.
