  1. back on that theme? Again...
  2. no, just enjoying the fact that you think I am.... sucker
  3. is there a yawn icon..... yep, found it. Serious question: How long are you going to keep posting this rhetorical rhetoric up? Or are you just a saddo that salivates at the thought of people like me being wound up on it?
  4. and your belated response is (avoiding the facts).....? And is sacking Andy Oldknow relevant to anything?
  5. just to correct you, our two most expensive signings (back then) are no longer with us, correct and people harp on about this like its some sort of abnormality that we are guilty of. I could (with research) give you players at every single other club (Lamela - Spurs, Pogba - Utd, Torres - Chelsea........ Lallana _ Liverpool ) that have not worked out but apparently that's the chairman's fault FFS the money going? from a £4 billion owner, never going to happen, how you can compare us to Leeds? I agree on the cup run but i'll think you'll find that was the manager's call. what does back in the black, rebuilding mean? We built a pretty good side last season.
  6. My point is re. the other thread, no one can tell just yet what is going to happen. No one knows for sure she isn't going to bugger off in the near future, so to continually admire some brand new regime is foolish. NC was under ML for the first six months, during that time things were pretty sweet as I remember. To a certain extent things changed when he died and NC was left with total control. Lets see where we are at the end of the season, and that's not about where we are in the league, though that will clearly be paramount. She has made 20 million this transfer window, no doubt MS and JR will go over the summer and she'll skim off some more (which she is entitled to do). Im just not fooling for all this 'new board' love in just yet, whilst NC was a total Arse sometimes and probably a pretty unpleasant guy in some respects, you cannot argue about what he achieved on the pitch and above all he gave us a new ambition that this new board have swept away (so far) by selling our best players.
  7. with exception of the first bit, none of that happened in the first six months.
  8. Haven't started a thread for ages mate, you must be getting me confused with some other bell end.
  9. Actually, come to think of it, he didn't sell 4 of our best players. And he signed Rickie Lambert for an astronomical fee in League One.
  10. I can't remember too much being bad at the time, maybe I'm wrong?
  11. how many more 'look at me' threads are you going to start on this?
  12. Err, dr, yes you did. You said that he wasn't as good as good as he was cracked up to be. If that is not saying ' he was bad' by any stretch, don't what is?
  13. please dont let the facts get in the way of making out someone who was regarded as great for us, is actually pants for them!
  14. Take my kid to SMS now and feel so sorry for him. He'll never really know what it's like to beat Liverpool 4-1 in a place like The Dell, or as everyone says, those midweek cup nights and he'll never see MLT. he sits in a seat like its a theatre or cinema, glad I was never introduced to football in this way, find it hard to imagine him getting a real passion in the same way you got Under The East Stand.
  15. Micky Fialka, lest we forget. wasnt Matt Le Tissier also in that syndicate ?
  16. The ladies "come (cum) either way"
  17. Now you're getting boring
  18. keep trying pal, you'll come up with something original one day. Hey, about another song?
  19. About as good as last season.
  20. So Tadic is better than Lallana (not so sure about that, faster maybe but as gifted, nah) Gados is better than Lovren (no idea but a lot to beat, Lovren is an utter cent, but a damn good defender) and Betrand is better than Shaw? (Not a chance) And Pelle Is better than Lambert, maybe, time will tell, would still have preferred to have added to last seasons team that built a new one. This is so typical 'rose tinted glasses' syndrome, since when did the aforementioned players become so bad. Sorry, it was back in May that everyone on here was on about four or five players being good enough for England in The World Cup. But since they've gone they ain't good enough for their own teams, classic mong board led by some classic mongs
  21. Didnt realise Frannys run was about a personal vendetta with Cortese? There's me thinking it was a genuine charity effort.
  22. I think saddo do probably found my only post on the subject back then, so I was hardly championing the cause against the new board, however they did act like a bunch of complete amateurs over the summer. If people think that we can do without our best players, so be it, but some people seem to think that a couple of good results seem to vindicate selling nearly all of our best players, time will tell.
  23. Brilliant response mate, well done you.
