The V2 rocket had a 200 mile operational distance, made 17 years before NASA put a man on the moon. Russia launched Venera 6 to Venus a few months before NASA put a man on the moon, not to mention Soyuz 5 - a manned space craft - into orbit the same month. The first artificial heart was transplanted into a human in April 1969 too (OK, so the chap died 65 hours later, buy whatever.)

Why do people do this? Do you honestly think that its hard for ANYONE to call SMS and ask if there has been a press conf arranged for today? They used to ask what paper you were from, now they dont even do that. Shocking as it is, they have no knowledge of a press conference being called today.
