    Dell Seats

    Serious question?!?
  2. Lets not forget that he did a good job stepping in for Morgan in our JPT Final starting line up.
  3. Just phoned. I'm an ST holder and have already bought a ticket for myself. Phoned for an additional and was told that this would still have to be bought with a Carlisle ticket and the operator admitted that the process was "confusing". This seems to contradict the details on Twitter yesterday and experiences of people above.
  4. There's a new story on this site that seems to be saying a fee has been agreed but we're waiting on clearance/work permit as he's non-eu. Would think possibly some form of dual-citizenship as can't see him getting a work permit otherwise.
  5. Mine seems to have gone AWOL in the post as well. E-mailed TO who advised can go to the stadium to collect a duplicate but they won't post another one.
  6. It depends, mine was set up on my debit card so presumably if the payment had failed it would only be the club who would be aware of it as their new, stand-alone transaction would not go through, unlike with a direct debit or standing order where the bank will write to the account holder and levy a charge.
  7. That makes sense. Be curious to know how many payments failed and what effect the system had on ticket office staff/resources as from a customer perspective it made everything very straight forward.
  8. There was no finance company involved last season. The first payment was taken by card at the ticket office and card details saved. At the beginning of each subsequent month a new transaction was put through on the same card by the ticket office.
  9. Was this ever given as a reason? Recall that on the Solent/NC interview from before the Leeds game it was put down to the extra staffing required at the call centre etc.
  10. Roughly an extra £70 on an adult behind the goal for missing the cheaper renewal price is a significant chunk (over 20%) and means people losing their current seat.
  11. It's the clubs decision if they don't want to offer a payment plan, but to announce the fact as tickets go on sale with plans being offered on previous seasons isn't exactly the best way to communicate the fact. I should be able to scrape the cash together but others won't be able to. Hadn't done any prior "financial planning" as was expecting to pay June/July-November as last year.
  12. There was no credit check last year (maybe due to late notice after takeover). Debit/credit card was swiped at ticket office when first installment taken and details saved. Then at the beginning of each month the next installment would be taken as a new transaction on the same card.
  13. Lack of a payment plan seems quite a big issue, especially when this is only stated ten hours before the tickets go on sale. Just pulled out the customer charter which admitedly states 09-10 season but was only issued in December: "In a continuing effort to to strive for wider access to matches the club will offer a payment plan for season tickets to make them cost-effective."
  14. Don't think it was rescinded. Recall that the red card stood, but the suspension was reduced from three games to one as a three match ban was thought to be excessive for the offence committed.
  15. Whilst shuffling away from the ground some guy who looked like the 8 hours of drinking was taking hole was berating everyone for not singing songs. He then decided to take the lead by starting up the Lambert song finishing with: "He gets the ball he takes the ****, he wears the shirt of Matt Le Tiss: RICKIE JOHNSON, blah blah blah blah blah." Cue everyone stunned silence broken after about ten seconds by laughter and some guy asking "you realise his name is Lambert??" He didn't seem quite so up for leading the chants after that.
  16. After waiting at Eastleigh and seeing the first two trains come past full someone had the idea of getting a train to Fratton and then going Fratton to Waterloo. A lot of surprised locals getting off arriving trains to see about 40 saints fans in colours waiting about!! Special mention to whoever managed to take over the PA system for a shout of red army. Also good to see the station staff and manager out on the platform having some banter and a laugh. Did the same route on the way back and worked out well. Took three hours to go Waterloo to Eastleigh but had seats and no risk of not being able to get on.
  17. Thanks a lot for this.
  18. Trying to sort my online ticket account out ready for Monday and to save on fees. When selecting seats for a game I get the "Customer" drop down box next to each seat but there is nothing at all in the drop down, not even my own customer number. I'm not linked to any other accounts so just wanted to check if this box is only meant to contain linked customer numbers. Don't want to get to next week and find the system won't seel because I can't make it aware I have an ST.
  19. Probably lucky the yellow wasn't a red as well. Kicked Lewington from standing well after the whistle had gone for the Saints free kick.
  20. SSN breaking news: Southampton agree deal with Plymouth for Jason Puncheon
  21. Saints Twitter page updated half an hour ago to say less than 200 home tickets left. Guessing we won't hit 30K though because of the corporate seating and away seating.
  22. Anyone who doesn't realise what a massive improvement BBC's coverage has been over ITV needs to get things in perspective. Now we've moved down a league we'd struggle to even get our goals on most weeks.
  23. Quite an interesting blog on BBC site which explains what they're looking to do. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/sporteditors/2009/08/the_right_to_highlight.html Appears the intention is for a show after MOTD on Saturday night to feature every goal from the three leagues rather than an ITV style one featured game approach. 2-5 min highlight packages of each match also on BBC website 48 hours after the game. Think the live games are Championship only so not a factor to us.
  24. Within an hour of my post above had an e-mail from a very helpful gentleman from the club who has managed to get everything sorted :-)
  25. Has anyone still not received an e-mail? As I hadn't I sent an e-mail to customerservice@performgroup.com as the news story on OS said queries from existing subscribers should be directed there. I've now received an e-mail that just says: Not helpful because I've been paying monthly for the last couple of years and the subscription is clearly active as I can log into Saints TV at present. I also have don't have a "Netbanx" reference. If anyone else has been having troubles would appreciate any feedback as to what you've done and if it's sorted matters.
