That article merely states that it was a proposal 8 years ago. There is nothing to indicate that this became an FL regulation or remains an FL regulation.

12.3.2 (a), (b), © & (d) of FL regs do seem to enshrine the ability for the FL to make it up as they go along with regard to parent companys going into admin. Even if the club and parent company aren't seen as intrisically linked they can still deduct on the basis of taking into account the integrity of the compeition and the reputation of the league.

This is the definition of "Group undertaking" referred to in the FL regulations: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/46/section/1161

That NSC thread is interesting. You've got some people expressing concern at they're disciplanary record thsi season being completely shot down by others. Thinm my favourite comment is: Guess a fall over his outstretched leg is identical to two sets of studs into the backside of the ankle!

Barnet extend Jack Saville loan deal from Southampton

Or "Southport" as the scrolling bar on SSN said this morning! -
I have two people like that behind me in block 42. Every game this season has consisted of "What did we sign that c*** for?!?" "Guly you're s***" and so on. My personal highlight was one of them shouting "NO!!!" as he took a shot in the Watford game. A second later they were celebrating as the ball nestled in the bottom corner.

Le Tissier,Beattie and Lambert as penalty takers
Mozz replied to corsacar saint's topic in The Saints
According to the link The9 put up the instep is the top of the foot (not the side): "The instep is the arched part of the top of the foot between the toes and the ankle." -
Actually had a look last night in view of that post and it still shouldn't be a pen as Lewis Dunk comes from the touchline side of Fonte so both the leg contact and the pull occurr when both men are outside the area.

Disagree with this part a little bit. Seems to be that whenever Lambert goes bottom left then he goes through the ball with laces rather than sidefoot. -
Whistle definately there at 12 seconds. Walton even points towards the goal with his left arm as he blows. It seems that Harper goes for a wander off his line whilst Walton has his back turned walking away from goal at the beginning of the clip. Walton then fails to re-check Harper's position before blowing.

That report is bang on the money for me. Surprising given the quality of most newspaper reports. Good stuff.

I've got some of those as well. They even moan when he scores though. Their positive observations on his first goal: "I thought that was going to end up here with us" and "He couldn't miss from there could he".

I'm also a block 42er and the whole waving of the season tickets is cringeworthy. The songs are pretty bad as well. Adam Lallane, he hates plastic fans? Actually I'd think he prefers playing in front of more people each week! At least on Saturday it only seemed to be one small group of people near the back (20-30 people maybe) and the various songs and such weren't really catching on with anyone else.

It is always Itchen external or ticket office though. Suppose theres not an awful lot more to show!

Getting a blog does not exist screen?

Fairly sure that the photos that make it a look like a handball are actually showing moving away from the bodies having hit Lambert's head and give a perspective that make them appear to be showing a handball. The various camera angles on Saints Player show that when the ball comes down it goes nowhere near a hand and the point of first contact seems to be Lamberts head.

I think (from memory) that it's any game that is being 'live' edited in an OB truck outside as they just pick up their feed. As such it could be if a game is on oversees television or is a 'featured' game on TFLS/FA Cup highlights etc rather than only Sky games.

There's already a downloadable squad update. Adds Hooiveld at starting LCB with a rating of 69.
-
Totally. Was actually just thinking that if I could turn up and pay a tenner on the gate I would go on impulse. £14 + booking fee too much for me to justify the week before pay day.

Yep. From watching the replay angle from the back of the Chapel a few times on Saints Player it's a definite deflection. A Brum player lines up in the Saints wall. Fonte stands directly behind him with Hooiveld behind Fonte. Wood drills the ball low at his teammate at which point the ball is travelling straight at Davis. It then goes through the Brum players legs, through Fonte's legs and through Hooiveld's. The ball clips Hooivelds left instep on the way through his legs deflecting the ball away from Davis and into the middle of the goal.

Replays on Saints Player show that Connolly was about half a yard onside.
-
It shows how well we saw the game out that they couldn't find a single highlight after Lambert's third goal.

On the OS but not linked from the front page yet: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2428330,00.html

I think the 'mongs' only come out when they're the highlights put together by the league rather than having anything to do with Saints.
