  1. Synecdoche, New York - What an utterly strange film. Exploring the exploration of death by a director who is basically failing at life. I can see how this is ridiculously polarising, either self-indulgent tosh or complete brilliance. I quite enjoyed it, it becomes almost dream-like with time being distorted as the central character becomes more and more immersed in his project, which becomes a tapestry of meta-narratives, before building up to a powerful, yet confusing, ending. 8/10
  2. Good luck to Pompey with their new owner. Hopefully we can meet soon.
  3. Hence why I'd wet myself.
  4. DOF at Notts County. We've missed out there.
  5. Dickson is supposedly quite promising and Racon is quite good. If we could get Shelvey I'd wet my pants, though.
  6. Isn't McKenzie a free agent?
  7. Him and Fish competing for the LB spot sounds pretty good.

This. All the fans would like him there though, but they can't hope to meet his demands.

Was good for Watford in the CCC last year, he'll be damn good for us in L1 next year.
  10. I got some chips from the one at the end of market street the other week, their chilli sauce was manky. Frydays is good, always has been.
  11. I live in chippy central. Literally. There are about 6 chippies within a 10 minute walk. 2 of which are very very good.
  12. I do remember sampling yummy yummy's delights (first and last time) on the day of my Latin Set Text GCSE paper. I could barely concentrate, I felt that ill. Lol. Unfortunately I have the 90p ambala chips with garlic mayo and chilli sauce every fortnight or so on Friday afternoons, pre-lecture. It's a shame there are no decent eateries around our school. Pepe's Piri Piri, Ambala, Yummy Yummy and Kebabish. Makes me froth at the mouth.
  13. So you've moved away from the place in which the michelin-starred ambala and yummy yummy are located? oh dear
  14. It's alright chris, you can try to beat me, but I'll just blast some post-ambala chips gas on you. Urgh.
  15. Sorry. I didn't mean to single out the 'white man'. I meant every colour and race, other than those from a specific area of India.
  16. The fact that you had to justify your own opinion as non-infractable, means you think it's infractable, otherwise you wouldn't have justified it as being non-infractable. And fwiw, I hate hard-working white British taxpayers and wish to undermine them and leech off of them at every opportunity.

  18. Really? I thought degrees were a waste of time and you could earn £££ easily without one.
  19. The Economist (it's a 'paper) and The Guardian (now and again).
  20. I like him. He tried to implement a passing game at the beginning of this season, but during the transition results wavered and was sacked. He'd lost the dressing room as he'd become somewhat egotistical without Keith Burkinshaw at his side. However, I reckon him with an experienced DOF in the mould of Burkinshaw, with Aidy having learned some vital lessons, could be very effective for us. Hoofball at Watford was simply playing effectively with a lump and a quality striker, with a very very good winger. He's not simply a hoofball merchant and I think would be a decent shout for boss. Not first choice, Widdrington would be that, but if we can't get Tommy, Strachan or Keegan, he'd be very good.
  21. Keegan Tisdale Strachan Widdrington Boothroyd Any of the above.
  22. I'm glad as I'd like a fresh start, but feel sympathetic for the guy and he has left with the respect of all Saints fans and his integrity wholly intact. Thanks Mark.
  23. Wooter would be good. Was alright for Watford back in the day. Except he's 9 years or so older now.
