Well I have spent 18 hours in the air ( 4-5 of it in heavy turbulence over Asia ! ) another 3 hours on a coach .Cost me a packet and gone to the game still all alone ....and Ive done it more than once ! Mmmm ....if your a sad case I dread to think what I am !

I work in the mining industry in Western Australia. Liebherr are a massive player in the large Iron ore open pit operations .With their range of Giant Haul Packs ( $4.0 million + each ) Shovels ( No... not the ones you hold in your hand ! loaders , mobile cranes etc etc I wonder how they will all fit on the the 1st team shirts when Flybe get the flick !

Working in the mining industry here in Australia Liebherr (Leeber ) are a massive player Perhaps someone creative on here can design the next sponsors saints shirt with will be Liebherr no doubt. Problem is how to fit a giant haul pack, Excavator shovel, mobile crane and a wheel loader onto the shirt !

Had dinner with John and his wife with a few friends all from Southampton a couple of months back .He lives here in Perth WA. Great guy a saints legend and he still follows the club with a passion !

I have seen a few games. I would put the Aussie A leauge at around lower Leauge1 level. Robbie Fowler will be playing in it next season so he should score around 20 + even off the bench !

Fresh start.......Docklands Stadium...... sounds a lot more intimidating than St Marys !

He can pick me up in Perth as well !

Having lived O/seas for a few years now . It is very sad to see Pompey ahead of us in more ways than one. The current Qantas in flight magazine has a big visitors spread on Portsmouth over a few pages. Gunn Wharf, etc, etc. I cant see Southampton even filling one page these days !!

John is well on the mend now and looks well. Following a bad run of a hip replacement then an unexpected prostrate operation. He said he really wanted to be there but had to get his health issues sorted first.

I was lucky enough to have dinner with John Sydenham and his wife Julie last week at a mates place. All of us from Southampton and now living in Perth WA ! John was in fine form after a few reds and told me many great stories about his Dell days. He is in contact with many team mates such as Terry Pain etc and still follows the club with a passion. He was scouting for Saints until recently and unfortunatly feels we will struggle to aviod relagation this season !
