Another poor cross from Saints.

I'd say Saints might consider themselves a tad fortunate not to be behind at HT. Watford have spurned some good chances with their more direct style. Meanwhile Saints have had a couple of openings but the build up is too slow again. There really is no reason to fanny around with it at the back all the time when in possession giving Watford time to get into their defensive shape. Considering it's a "must-win" game I'd suggest we'd better instead start to think about next season and whether Tonda's the right man to go for a promotion push.

Saints build up far too slow again. Contrast with Watford getting it through the lines much more quickly.

Leo needs to realise he's not going to get more than a couple of touches at a time. When there's two on him he needs to find a team mate.

I'll go out on a limb and welcome the chap to Saints. It would be nice if he could be allowed at least a few minutes on the pitch before getting the hate treatment.

As expected Saints are now morphing into a mid table Championship player trading club. SR's work is almost complete. I don't expect to see them at the top level again so basically back to where they were when I started going to the Dell 60 years ago.
