Difficulty is finding one with those attributes. Rarely is a player quick, tall, strong, good on the ball, can cross....you're looking at upwards of £30m for a RB if you want that kind of player. I can't think of many in the league! Walker the only one

Potentially looking at getting a new car. Likely to be a nearly new/used car unless I can find a ridiculously good deal for a new car. Current car (2010 BMW 120d) is probably worth about £5k, so likely to need some assistance to fund said new car. Wondering what other people can advise on what is best for these different options? And if anyone has any recommendations for which cars to look at given I'm a 29 year old single male, only requirement is to be able to fit golf clubs + trolley in! Currently been thinking about getting a new 1 series, 2 series or Merc C class...

Very unlikely surely, he's very similar to Bellerin, flatters to deceive because he's quite quick, not great defensively and cant cross.

Do agree that it was time for him to leave, but can't help but feel we should have given him more of a chance under Puel, he only seemed to get the odd game, and when he started he showed he can still do it (Bompey away). Turned out ok for both parties, but I'd take him back right now.

Strangely it's not been announced yet, they don't have to but think normally it's done by now. Guess we'll probably hear something on the 1st June if not before. Well that was kind of my point, but in todays market we probably shouldn't be letting him go for anything less than £5m. Ideally we let him go on loan for a year and see what happens, keep Bertand & Targett.

TBF, if they nail that position, and get a top keeper in, they could well win the league next year....they have the strike force, and now the defence.....

If it's a perm transfer, it'll be interesting to see how much he goes for...would have expected it to be somewhere between £5m & £10m in todays market...

Good player, we've been a better side this season when he's been on the pitch IMO. Will always give his all and certainly has a place in the squad. As others have mentioned though, he has never had a proper position which has meant he's struggled. I have no problem with him as part of a 3 man narrow midfield or as a RM with an attacking full back behind him.

Exactly. What we're saying at the moment, is that someone is pocketing some of the VVD money, we're not putting anything in of this years money, and we've got to sell to bring in money to spend. If it was £75m + anything we bring in then fair enough, ca net £20m spend of this years money.

I’m not panicking and still fully expecting him to sign...BUT...if some of these rumours are true then we’re ****ed. Was thinking this would be a wake up call but potentially not...be a shambles if we **** this window up as much as the last 4.
