Time to see some rumours, we need additions badly, the Europa league could be an embarrassment at this rate
-
Both victims of the system, Davis is lost there, he needs to play between the lines and link play. Can't do that.
-
If its on Talksport then he's definitely not going there.

Is he? Pretty sure Benteke has gone for £27m+5m...(£32m) whereas Mane went for £34.5m+£4m... (£38.5m). -
Any transfer rumours?! Would be nice for this thread to be kept to transfer rumours and chat....

3-0 Utd.

Bit like football manager I guess when you decide you need a quick striker, you just filter on what you want.
-
If Jose does leave, and it's for less than Ashley Williams, then that is an absolute joke....
-
Trying to divert attention from the situation really isnt he.... If all was well and it was just a smokescreen, then we'd have had an interview on youtube about the Euros as soon as he was back, and he would have signed a contract when it was reported it'd been offered, he's stalling.
-
He'll pipe down when things start going well. He wants us to fail, always been the case on here.
-
What about Watford who had a bid rejected ?
-
Tbf, he's got no history in getting anything correct either, whereas KBilly and Guan have previous ITK credentials and know each other. I fully believe those two, the rest I'm yet to be convinced by.

Maybe he'll go to Everton or West Ham.... -
Hojbjerg and Redmond are not "bargain basement", they're good promising young players, but we've lost two experienced pros in Wanyama and Pelle, and not replaced either yet. We've also lost our best player and "replaced" him with Redmond, which is fine if Redmond is going to score and assist 10 a season however its a big gamble. We're obviously going to sign atleast 1 maybe 2 more, just need them asap and they need to hit the ground going.
-
Difference is these were all over a number of years, we've lost a more players in 3 consecutive summers....with a good chance to push on at the end of each of those seasons, and we've decided not to do it. I will rate the squad when the transfer window is closed, however at the moment we are lacking and not sure you'll find one Saints fan who will say it's currently been a successful window...!

There is enough interest in him, Palace, WBA, I'm sure WHU would also take him.... They'll hold out for £30m up front, and probably get it. -
We were awesome that night, especially Guly. Great days.

Fonte - I agree with, but the club has shown it will happily sell players. Redmond - one of Norwich's better players? I like him, but he wasn't even in their team the majority of the season. Hojbjerg isn't a replacement for Wanyama, Romeu is Wanyama's replacement, who isn't good enough defensively to protect our already shaky back four. Again, I don't think we should or will be in a relegation fight, but I don't see any point in gambling. We lost a lot of goals and creativity last season by losing Mane and Pelle, Redmond and Austin aren't going to have the same impact. I'd say it's fine having those up top trying to nick a goal, if you know we've got a very strong defensive unit, but I don't see us keeping as many clean sheets this season compared to the previous few years.
-
I don't believe that - why would Man Utd fly their potential new signing on a standard flight? He'd either get his own flight, or just drive him there.
-
With the squad we've currently got, we could get sucked into a relegation battle. I don't think we will be or should be, but it is possible. We don't have many goals in our side at the moment, and not particularly strong at the back, especially if we don't replace Wanyama and Fonte (if he goes) adequately. Chelsea proved last year that it's pretty easy to get bogged down into a rut, and look at the players they have.
-
You say that but we finished 6th last year. We should learn to hold firmer when we get offers. It seems to be the case that every offer that we receive we accept, or even if we don't accept the first one, you know they're eventually going to go. It's almost like we advertise it. There is no excuse to want a negative net spend with the amount of money in the premier league. If Katherina wants to look after the asset, then she needs to make sure we're not in danger of relegation. At the moment we are....a few decent signings and we could be a top table side, it just doesn't help when you have to rebuild the club every summer.

Talksport just talk about nonsense to fill gaps in their shows, wouldn't read too much into that.

We definitely do seem to be weak negotiators. -
Hopefully we do not see Cedric at all on Friday - he was atrocious on Saturday. Pied look promising.
