  1. He was excellent when we played Norwich at home last year I think it was, maybe the year before....when Whittaker got sent off.
  2. My only hope in the back of my head, is that 5000 is an awful lot of tickets...and although a lot of people want to go, will that many of our STH go? there may just be a very vocal 1,000...not sure how they gauge interest for away games. Personally, I'm a member as for personal reasons I cannot get a ST, so therefore I buy all my away tickets on others ST's, so thats my problem as I'll have no chance of getting a ticket in the away end. Be interesting to see how quickly the tickets are sold out.
  3. If they let you buy, but then don't let you in, that would **** me off, it's the hope that kills and all that....
  4. Intersting that the 1stforfootballtickets website now says no UK passports...
  5. Are you the black box?
  6. Problem is, when they do that so close to the game, a huge amount of fans have already sorted travel and hotels, so will be there anyway trying to get tickets in the home end!
  7. Was watching the Holland/Sweden game last night, the two strikers caught my eye. Janssen looks like a really good buy for Spurs, and Berg up top for Sweden scored a lovely chip. They mentioned that Marcus Berg had been banging them in for Panathinaikos, late in his career, and wondered whether this was the bloke that Guan said we were after, "with a similar late flourish to Pelle". Can't see us signing Berg though, he's 30 now.
  8. It may be an option, if all else fails.
  9. I don't especially not at Arsenal.
  10. €146.40 for the Club Arancio....
  11. Chin up pal, there's always ways. I don't see it being a problem getting in the side stands
  12. How does this website work then ? https://www.1st4footballtickets.com/events/inter-milan-vs-southampton-tickets-europa-league.html
  13. I feel there is going to be a lot of saints fans milling around the city, and outside the ground and there will definitely be people who chance it on others ST's.
  14. Great to see you're making the trip! Would recommend either the Northam/Kingsland North Corner, probably from rows AA backwards, the view is as its best about 3/4 of the way up. Can't imagine you should have a problem getting tickets, however I would definitely contact the club in advance, I'm sure they'd be very accommodating for you. Might even be able to sort an added extra or two out as they may want to do some media around it. Hope you have a great time and we get 3 wins while you're here.
  15. Ideally we would get more tickets... And I am sure there are plenty of fans who do not buy away tickets on their number. They could have done 10 aways and got say 2 on their ST.
  16. At the end of the day, they'll be loads of Saints fans travelling to Milan who don't meet the criteria, the majority of which have already booked flights and hotel. Hopefully the interest isn't as large as it seems to be, and the tickets won't go that quickly, however it seems likely they will. They have 2 options: 1. Let us in the home ends 2. Don't let us in and all be round the city If it's a police issue, then surely it's better for them for us to be in the stadium (ideally in a larger away end!)
  17. We're in the "UNA Hotel Scandinavia". Get the impression Milan is pretty easy to get around.
  18. Thought he was excellent last night, our best player by a distance.
  19. See I'm not sure it is, as the lower teams who park the bus are the ones which you need to get high and wide against, and get in behind, I don't think the diamond is suited to good or bad sides
  20. Exactly what I'm going to do. Hoping that I'll get in the Saints end, however not sure how likely that is. Not like the home end will sell out, so hopefully it's just a case of logging on and buying online. More than welcome to get your ticket dropped off at my house, and then give it to you in Milan?
  21. 3-1 Arsenal, Hopefully we'll go with more of a 4-1-4-1 and hit them on the break. Mix up the diamond a bit.....I don't want to see 2 up top. or a 4-4-1-1 which we used quite a lot last season. --------------Forster--------------- Cedric - Fonte - VVD - Bertrand ---------------Romeu---------------- -----Hojbjerg-Clasie-Davis -------------Redmond--------------- ---------------Long---------------

They played it differently though, I've never seen a club play the "diamond" where the two strikers are no-where near the middle of the pitch for the majority of the game, and our most attacking player is the #10, essentially it's a false 9 formation with strikers playing out wide, and the attacking midfielder playing as the 9. It's just odd.
  23. Annoying for those on the cusp of getting a ticket - whoever that may be.
  24. Will definitely happen unfortunately, and they'll be loads of empty seats in the away end.
  25. Oh cheer up!!! It's for charity. just a bit of fun.
