Won me around - changing the system from a rigid diamond and strikers playing LM and RM, to a fluid front three with our strikers occasionally getting in the box has helped massively....

He's a good player, who causes the oppo problems, but he is not a striker. Not really a problem if we were only playing 1 up top, but as long as someone is scoring then I don't mind. Have a feeling he'll be the one making way for Boufal when fit...which must be soon?!

Whole team wasn't great but specifically Long, Martina, Clasie and Hesketh had shockers. Long is really struggling in this system, however last night, he wasn't even doing his usual hassling and hurrying. Whether that's team instruction not to press i'm not sure, but he looks absolutely terrible at the moment. He desperately needs a goal. We got a point away from home in a difficult game, agree with John Boy Saint too. The experience will help us, Inter away next, hopefully we'll stick in a better performance at the San Siro.

Height in midfield slightly concerns me, anyone know how big their midfield is?

Certainly not writing him off, he's got a lot of potential, just you can't say he was brilliant before his injury, as he barely played a game. Played very well vs Arsenal and Man Utd, however pretty awful in a few others. Time will tell...

It's changed though hasn't it, at the start of the season he was basically playing as a wide midfielder, in the last 2 week, we've started playing way more fluid with Austin playing more centrally even if he's starting wider. The fluidity is making it very hard to track runners so the system is working at the moment. I just worry when we play against a team with very attacking full backs, as it'll push our two strikers playing as wing backs essentially.

They just want to win, there were quite a few times yesterday where one more pass or a quicker pass and it would have been a tap in, instead we decided to shoot from a tough angle.
