Currently 5/10, Swapping Mane for Boufal and Hojbjerg + cash is good business. Still 2 holes though, DM and ST, and the main priority last season was for a new RB, which we basically don't have (yet). I actually think we could cope with Romeu/Hojbjerg or Hojbjerg/Clasie partnership in a 4231, just the problem is none of our midfield options can play as a lone anchor in a diamond.

I would try and get rid of Austin if we're looking to bring in another striker if we need to get rid of one.... Jay is our best 'all round' striker, can play in the system Puel wants to play, has got pace, can shoot from distance and decent in the air. no brainer to keep him IMO.

In an ideal world we'd bring in a striker, DM and a CB/RB. However, that's not going to happen. I'm expecting one more in. Probably a striker.

Just my opinion, maybe it is the system we play. it doesn't suit him at all, and he was knackered by half time on Saturday, looked way off the pace. For me: - Not quick enough to be a striker to play off the shoulder - Not strong enough to hold the ball up - Doesn't work hard enough to force errors from a defence I'm hoping he improves, but personally I think he is worse than Long and J-Rod in terms of impact, even Redmond looks more dangerous than him and he's not even a striker.

Quality?! hmm...I've seen nothing to suggest he is anything but a decent Championship striker.

Get Haller in, send Austin to Everton if they're still interested. I don't mind driving him up there if he needs a lift.
